Food is real dam good. But they need to work on getting the food out faster. New staff to be expected, but worth the wait.
Delicious food and amazing service
Every time I visit Whatafood on Denman I have a great experience! The food is amazing but their staff is what stands out. Rayanny and Ana were there tonight and they are awesome!Food: 5/5
Great selection of Brazilian food and snacks. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back!
Food was okay, mine was rather dry and not as flavourful as I was hoping. Small seating area inside. Friendly service. The poppers were good. $$Food: 3/5
I first learnt of the business from Italian Days in 2023. I had a delicious beef pastel. Their tagline is Brazilian pastels are better than empañadas and I don't disagree. I looked up the business on the internet and search rendered a location in New Westminster. I kept that in mind so I could take my husband there next time we go to New West. He loves anything fried with a filling. My husband and I were wandering in the West End waiting for one of my favourite restaurant to open for lunch and stumbled upon their new location on Denman Street. I was so excited that we changed our lunch plans. We bought 3 pastels to share beef, bacon & cheese, and cheese & guava jam and had an impromptu picnic at a quiet spot in the Rhododendron Garden at Stanley Park not far away. The staff was super nice, friendly and helpful. I can see myself just popping in for a goodie whenever I go on a walk to the beach or the park.
Awesome place for Brazilian food!Food: 5/5
The food is very good, the pastel and coxinha are very delicious! My only concern is the organization of the place, it's new so I had some mistakes on my order : . I spent 37 dollars and when I came home with my order I didn't understand what happened: a smaller size that I asked for. I spent a lot on almost no food. I hope this will be fixed soon, the food is delicious :D!
I was so happy to find a great Acai bowl in West End - it is a much needed healthy vegetarian option for our neighborhood. The Acai bowl was tasty, fresh, and 5 stars. One star missing for their use of single-use plastic bowls, even for dining in. I hope as they become more established they find ways to move away from single-use plastic bowls. Otherwise everything was great! Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian acai bowl!
Im so glad they opened a spot closer to my house! The pastel was amazing, full of filling nada de pastel de vento. Açaí was perfect, as well as de coxinha. Can’t wait to come back to try the sugar cane.Food: 5/5
