WET Science Center

About

The WET Science Center in Olympia, WA features interactive exhibits, weekend family activities, and environmental presentations. Open Mon-Sat from 10 am to 4 pm, and it’s free!

Story

LOTT's Water Education and Technology (WET) Science Center opened in 2010 to provide the community with a fun, hands-on opportunity for learning all about water - one of our most precious resources. Together, citizens and LOTT can conserve our water resources, support reclaimed water use, and take actions that will help protect Puget Sound. Learning more is the first step. Come check out our interactive exhibit gallery, attend a Saturday program, evening lecture, or bring your class on a field trip!

Free admission! The place is very small. They had a craft room to make your own toys today which we liked. Not a lot to see here so we got bored a little quick but it was free so can't complain. They could do a lot with the place to expand it.

It’s free, educational and not very big so I can keep an eye on three kids at a time. Even my 3 year old liked it and reminded me to not waste water when I was doing the dishes :)

It's free admission and they often have amazing science education opportunities on the weekends as well as special "sensory" friendly hours.

Bring the kids, but be prepared to be permanently schooled by them about conserving water. A first class education center.
