Westminster-St. Paul's Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. Our beliefs reflect the historic Christian faith and the Protestant Reformation. Our worship is traditional. Our fellowship is warm.
Our Sunday attendance averages between 70 and 80 people. For a congregation of this size we are quite active, with three study groups, a Sunday school programme and staffed nursery available each Sunday, a choir, as well as various groups within the congregation engaged in outreach and service ministries. In the summer we have a half-day VBS week, and every third Wednesday, September through May, we offer a midday meal and devotion geared toward seniors. Various community groups ranging from AA to TOPS, to Brownies, to the Guelph Male Choir also make use of our fully accessible building.
Our mission is to bring people into a life-transforming relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The main activity of our life together is Sunday worship (10.30am) where we explore the Word of God in Scripture, Sacrament, Prayer and Song. The Christian life rooted in worship, extends outward into all other dimensions of what we do -- the way we care for one another, the way we engage with the community around us, the way we think and act, individually and together. We desire to be something beautiful for God, and a meaningful presence to those in our neighbourhood.
