Crestwicke Baptist Church is located in Guelph, ON and is a member of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Canada.
Crestwicke was once a home church planted in 1927 by Walter and Kathleen Frid. Over the last 80+ years Crestwicke has been a faithful church with a long history of loving and serving people, serving God, and proclaiming the gospel.
Crestwicke today is located at 400 Speedvale Avenue East (in the old Y.M.C.A. building).
Some of the ministries Crestwicke is involved in are:
Women’s Ministries – regularly monthly women’s meetings with an outreach focus; and SNIPS (Sharing Needed Items; Practically Serving), a women's sewing and handcraft program to support other ministries in our city that cater to single mothers
Men’s Ministries – Monthly breakfasts and a Father’s Day Car Show, which attracts upwards of 60 cars and their owners each spring
Prime Time Program - ministers to our church's senior population, but also to a number of seniors from a non-church background
Onside Sports - through ball hockey leagues and summer camps, Crestwicke provides affordable, enjoyable, and safe recreational sporting for children and families in our community.
Crestwicke Baptist Church exists to spread the gospel to people of all ages in our community and the world, to teach them to worship God with their whole life, to grow more like Christ and to serve one another in love.
