Thank you to Jay Wilson and staff for the wonderful services they provided to our family. Unfortunately, we lost our mother on April 13/2024 and soon after our father on July 31st. We were not in a good place mentally but with the assistance of Jay and staff it was easy to go through. I would highly recommend Westminster to anyone in need.

The sudden and unexpected loss of my mother was the single most devastating experience of my life. I was very unsure of how to handle any of the arrangements for a funeral and burial as I've never done anything like it before and, naively, never thought I would have to.nnThat's where David Wolf of Westminster Cemetery comes in. He was so incredibly helpful, patient and kind throughout this very emotional process. From the moment I first spoke with him over the phone to in-person meetings and email correspondence after the burial and during the creation of the marker, he was an absolute pleasure to work with and made a very hard time a little bit easier.nnThe grounds are very beautiful and well kept and I'm happy that my mom has such a nice resting place. Thank you, David & Westminster!
During this difficult time of grieving we felt the support of the team at Westminster.nWe were able to concentrate on what was important, our family and friends because everything was taken care of by an amazing staff.nAll the services in one location was not only convenient but comforting knowing we didn’t have to drive or move to different locations.nThank you for the support.
The facility and the cemetery itself were well kept however by far the worst experience we’ve ever had and I wish for this to never happen to anyone.nnStory Time:nElisabeth was great at first and was really empathetic towards the family during the consultation however is also a liar… We were shown a lot during the consultation as she told us that seeing the lot was important but when it came to the day of burial they dug a different lot from what we were shown. According to the paper work, the lot that was dug up was the one we paid for but it surely was not the one we were shown. It was a civic holiday so the workers tried their best to contact their higher ups to see how they could help us but no one gave anyone a definitive answer. In the end we were given the choice to bury our loved one in the lot that was already dug up or wait till after the holiday 3 extra days to see if the lot that was shown was even available. Due to our beliefs we chose to bury him in the lot that was already dug.nnAfter the holiday was over Elisabeth reached out to the next of kin and told him she would call him back after she went to check out the lot. However, after waiting an entire week she did not reach out. We then decided to talk to the administration manager who said she would tell Elisabeth to reach out to us and she finally did 30 minutes after we spoke to the director. Elisabeth then told us that the lot she showed us was indeed the lot we paid for and buried our loved one. Which in fact was not true and have about 10 other people who were there to see the lot the day of the consultation. We also have a picture of us walking along the path where we thought we would bury our loved one that proves the lot we were shown is completely different from the lot we buried our loved one. In the end Elisabeth told us she would pay, out of her own pocket, for the picture on the monument we still had to purchase but this is not something we wanted. Apparently there was nothing else they could do to fix this extremely major inconvenience.nnLooking further into things: Why did Elisabeth wait for the Administrative Director to tell her to contact us after she had contacted us immediately after the civic holiday? Could Elisabeth have said what she said over the phone, in person to the family that is mourning which includes the 3 children ages 30-10 years old as well as his partner? Why would Elisabeth offer to pay for the picture on the monument using her own money?
