Fantastic local bar with an amazing atmosphere, cold drinks, and a large menu. Food was fresh with large portions - we had the Rueben, Prime Rib French Dip, Taco Salad, and Turkey Avacado Wrap. For appetizers we tried the breaded mushrooms and Double Baked Cheese Bread. Everything was great and the staff were super attentive even when it was busy!
My wife decided to put names in a bowl of places we never had been to and give them a try, this was my first pull. We were not disappointed one bit. Her pizza and my bacon Bleu cheese burger was awesome. We also tried the king combo appetizer platter. Everything was great. Wonderful neighborhood place, we'll be back for sure.
Not the best experience this time. My family loves coming here and have been for years. Got takeout tonight , told it would be 10 minutes till my order was done, showed up about 15 minutes because they looked pretty busy. Got there took a while for anyone to even say anything to me, had to say excuse me. But this is how my meal looked the fries are cold and underdone/ soggy and black? and my wrap was completely ripped. Also never got the extra ranch I paid for.
Went here on a recommendation from a friend. Waited almost an hour for our food which was mediocre at best. No seasoning on my wife's steak. Hamburger was cold when I got it. Overall would not recommend.
I had such a nice experience today at Westgate. I heard good things about their pizza and decided to give it a try. Ordered both the Hawaiian and House Special pizzas with lots of ranch. Both pizzas were delicious and the ranch was good too IYKYK. I just did an order pickup for takeout so I can't speak to eating inside but it is definitely a unique atmosphere indoors. I also wanted to speak to the kindness of the person who took my order, she was wonderful! When I asked if the pizza could be cut into smaller pieces, she offered the suggestion of cutting into squares which worked great AND my request for a lot of ranch was accommodated. I will be back for pizza again!!!
I really wish I’d gotten a picture but it slipped my mind! My hubby and I are in Lansing for our honeymoon and decided to check this place out. It was pretty steady but we didn’t have to wait too long . There was only one waitress Alexis I think but she was really sweet & I liked her a lot . She really handled everything with no problem. We got the Mac n cheese bites and pizza puffs , I got the chicken quesadilla & he got the western burger . Everything was very good! Best Mac& cheese bites I’ve had. Waitress mentioned they cooked the grilled chicken fresh for every order & you can definitely tell. If we lived here, this would definitely be a weekly spot . :
Loving this calzone!! Have also had thier prime rib french dip and avocado burger. I'd recommend any of them!!!!
Wow loved how we ordered food tjat never came.... was absolutely shocking when the cook said he dose not know how to make a patty melt like its on the menu dude.... always good food here when the shenanigans are not running rampant. Waitress was over ran with no support she deserves better too. Come on owner get it together, please
Disappointed with the perch, cooked perfect looked great but the skin left on gave it a fishy taste.
Great friendly service, smaller then I was expecting but they definitely get customers. Glad I went, had the steak special it was perfect. Definitely going back , can not wait to try there burgers.
