Story

West Park Lanes has come along with the times since we opened in 1946, adding computerized scoring along with updated bowling equipment to our many services. We also offer a clean, happy atmosphere to make your visit a pleasant one. With an on-site ‘60s-style diner (Fil’s Diner, opened in 2000) and an Irish pub (Daniel O’Connell’s, opened in 2002), we are pleased to be a one-stop facility for wholesome family dining and entertainment at its best.

Disappointed with this bowling alley. It’s very dark inside, which makes it hard to enjoy the game. They only offer 5-pin bowling, not the standard 10-pin most people expect. The facility feels old and outdated, lacking the atmosphere or quality of a modern bowling alley. Wouldn’t recommend it for anyone looking for a classic bowling experience.
This place is starting to look run down. They haven't maintained it properly so you have the wood on the lanes blistering causing uneven surfaces, shoes that haven't been replaced in over a decade and more. Used to be nice, but now not so much.
Kudos to the sole employee on site for managing the shoes, reservations, lanes, and restaurant orders. With all the lanes occupied, it was insane how she had to juggle everything. She kept her cool and handled it all as much as humanly possible.nnHowever, the understaffing had consequences. There were technical issues that caused the balls to get stuck several times, plus a software glitch that froze our games twice. Each time, we had to wait until the only employee was free to fix the issue. We ended up waiting for at least 30 minutes.nnAside from the understaffing and numerous technical problems, the music was too loud. Also, the lanes and seating area are outdated and in serious need of repairs and renovations.nnDisappointed with the experience, we won’t be returning to West Park Bowling.
Fun 5 pin bowling. Great for parties or work outings as it is not serious, just fun. Kids 10+ will enjoy it too! Good value for money. They have drinks, beer and food. Shoe rental available. Book via their website.
I have been here many times and have had fun on each occasion. This is not only a great place for a family outing, but also a good activity to go out with friends or work colleagues.nnFor those who have not come here before, the bowling venue is connected to a diner, so you can order from a full food menu. You can also get beer and non-alcoholic drinks. On our latest outing, my family got a basket of fries, quesadillas, and veggie nachos to share.
