Merivale Bowling Centre is open 7 days a week, Day and Night, we're always around for a day or an evening out!

We have 48 lanes with computerized scoring , 36 lanes equipped with bumpers and a fully licensed restaurant. Don't forget to check out our newly added arcade!!

Rock 'n' Bowl Hours are:
Friday : 5: 00 pm - 12:00 am
Saturday: 10:00 am - 12:00 am
Sunday : 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Pricing for Bowling: $6.00 per person, per game

If you would like to play bowling with your friends as adults, it’s not right place for you because bowling balls and pins are so small. But you can go and play with your children. On the other hand, I found the guy at the ticket desk was rude. I won’t go there again.
Went for a celebration which was rudely interrupted by the ticket guy, who was argumentative and difficult - most of the people that attended were talking about how rude he was when they came downstairs after grabbing their shoes. We were in a larger group graduates of higher ed, some with their kids and we didn’t know how many more were coming.nnWe initially tried to book online but were told we were not able to and that we should just show up.nnSo then when we showed up, we were told we couldn’t pay separately if over 10 people why?, and that we’d have to make 1 payment for everybody to avoid confusing the ticket guy…. and when we tried to add somebody 2 minutes later we were told that we could only add 2 more and not our son as it would mess up the timings… but the timings were not as important as we just wanted to add somebody so that they could play - shouldn’t be that hard.nnEven had the audacity to ask if we understood his frustration… for what? Trying to pay more money to the bowling alley?nnNot to mention we were sent to the snack bar to pick up an orange juice that we paid for at the bar. The time it took the guy to write on the back of the receipt he could have literally gone to get it.nnStaff need serious training, and booking system needs an overhaul.
Went 5-pin bowling here today, it was my first time trying 5-pin and it was fun and challenging too. You don't get as much of the domino effect as 10 pin bowling.nnWe came on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy, but they have a very efficient system. We were able to get a lane in 20 minutes. The fries here were also very good!nnThis is a very family friendly place, seems like lots of family like coming here.
Lots of aisles to play but the drinks are a bit steep in price for a draft beer, 10 bucks. God's place to just hang out, have a couple of beers and something to bite, there are a few choices of pub food.
Price per person is not bad for 1 game. Drinks at the snack bar are very expensive as you'd expect. Equipment is quite outdated though and only 5 pins and small bowling balls are available. Decent place over all.
