West Milwaukee Park

West Milwaukeeis and looks like a great community. Lots of business going on from Lincoln Ave to National Ave and around there. Cermack is great for groceries, Culvers has great sandwiches and custard, Subway, Menards, is there. Mc Donalds and I Hop r on 43rd and National. A Starbucks and a cousins and a Duncan Donet r all there. Target, Walmart r there as well. Pretty much everything except an Aldi's which is at 35th and Greenfield. Sendick's is there next to a Goodwill store. I'm sure I haven't even come close to mentioning everything. Just drive carefully down 43rd or Miller Parkway. Trafic is crazy!

NICE PARK for FAMILIES! Playground Equipment for both Younger (Tot Lot) and Older Children, Wading Pool in the summer, Baseball Diamonds (4), Tennis Court, nice Open Areas, and the edges of the park have a Small Woods... There are also a number of Tables for Picnics and Benches to take a Break.

Went to West Milwaukee park playground to walk the dog. It's out in the open, a nice park and safe.

The place is great for going for walks. Watch the birds they get a bit to unfriendly if you walk to close. The park is more geared toward 5-6+ year old which is a bummer for this young mom. But it's very clean and yes a great place to walk in some actual nature. Not just a concrete path with grass.
