I've lived in Milwaukee for 18 years, this was the first time I visited it. The Desert dome and Tropical dome are open all year but the Seasonal one was under 'construction' when I was there. I was told that last 2 weeks. I paid $5 for being a student and a Milwaukee resident. I loved every minute of it, I will be taking my mom and brothers to it so they can also experience it. I took so many pictures, below there is one of the exterior and a look at each dome. I highly recommend going and taking your little ones. The gift shop has great prices. I got 5 necklace pendants for around $15 bucks, they make wonderful gifts to loved ones.

Great place to teach your kids about our ecosystem! I hope they fix them up or build new! We took the family for their New Year's Eve party. Although it was a bit dark to fully see the exhibits it was a lot of fun and they had a lot of good activities going on for the family. We can't wait to go back again!

The place is truly awesome! Different domes for different plants. I had a great time exploring some of the plants I'd never come across before. My top favourite is the display dome with tons of flowers. With that long of a winter weather in WI, this was perfect for the beginning of April.

This is an awesome place to bring your family kids or anybody really. It's a great place to escape the cold weather on a snowy winter day and go into the tropical Dome and just warm up. You will get to see a lot of different plants and even some birds in the domes. You can spend a lot of time so walking around looking at all the different things. The gift shop is pretty cool as well you can find lots of little trinkets in there and fun things. The trains are also a cool part of the Dome

The displays in all three domes are amazing and must take a great deal of time and effort to build and maintain. But don't expect much in the way of amenities. In spite of the signs at the entrance warning you not to bring in food, unless you want a little bag of popcorn, forget it. There is one machine with any type of food and if you're hungry for BlueBunny ice cream, you're in luck. Except that the machine is currently out of service. But you can, at least get a bottle of soda. As long as you don't like Pepsi. They're out of that. Fortunately, this is Wisconsin and for the low price of $4.50 you can get a bottle of beer.
