We are a family & walk-in medical clinic providing comprehensive primary care for the people of Scarborough, Port Union, Pickering, and Ajax area. We are very proud of our caring and professional staff, and patient centred services. Our Clinic is located in the West Hill area. Our facility is very beautiful, state of the art and modern.

Lost my appointment booking 3 times in the 1.5 years I went to them and then told me that bookings were full for the day after I spent 1 hr in transit to see the doctor. The Reception of this clinic is just incompetent, unprofessional, and unempathetic. To be a receptionist you at least need to have a basic understanding of English and/or understand how to use the computer system to book appointments. I'm relieved to be changing Clinics, Good Riddance.
Stars are for my dr who is wonderful. But the way the clinic is run is a whole other issue. They tell you to call between 830am-9am if you need a same day urgent appointment. I called 3x and left a message. I did not receive a call back. I called back in the afternoon only to be told appointments are all booked up and I'd have to go to a walk in. Seriously! This is for my young child who is unwell. It's not the first time this has happened. Also, on their website it says they are now FHO as well as walk-ins 7 days a week for Urgent Medical Needs. But that's not what they're following. The secretaries all say different things. It's very frustrating as a parent..as a patient. I hope they fix this or I'll have to take my family else where.
My rating is for Dr. Woo. She has been my family doctor for a couple of years now and she's given me the best care and referrals. She listens, is attentive, kind, and honest. I like the secured email system that they use for doctors to communicate messages, requisitions, etc. This medical clinic has a pharmacy attached and they also do bloodwork onsite, which to me is convenient.
Loved this place when they first opened. My whole family went here. Recently when you call, they say they are no longer a walk in clinic and can't help you but their website states Walk in clinic, on the front page of their website. So I am a little confused. If you are not a walk in clinic, you should remove this from your website. False advertising?
I've never had to wait long for my appointment. Doctors are friendly and thorough. On-site blood work and pharmacy is a big bonus
This is one of the best places for care. Mark at front is a perfect expression of human compassion and the doctors here leading with Dr Ruben are the best in care for their patients.
Dr. Ruben is the least arrogant doc i've ever had in any capacity. He has been my GP for 5 uears now. I crashed my motorcycle recently on 401 at a high speed and hes been nothing but amazing. Even better than the emrg. at centenary hospital. He has helped me with recovery and given advice as well while actually listening to me. Removed my stitches on my knee as well painlessly and professionally. It can be a 2 hour wait but his demeanour and professionalism warrants such wait times so keep your complaining at home if you come visit him!!

While the doctors are great, the staff are utterly incompetent. We had a phone consult with a doctor who wrote a prescription and requested that we fill it at the pharmacy attached to their offices . Said we could pick it up in 30 minutes. I waited an hour, went to pick up the medication and was told i had to physically walk the prescription the 8 steps from the doctors reception desk to the pharmacy desk. Then they told me i needed to wait 1 hour for them to fill the prescription. THEY MADE ME DRIVE TO THEIR OFFICE TO WALK THE PRESCRIPTION FROM ONE DESK TO ANOTHER IN THE SAME OFFICE!! Completely ridiculous.
I joined West Hill Medical Centre as a patient of Dr. Zhang a little over 2 weeks ago. My previous family doctor is retiring. I was pleased with the opening interview and also the facilities. The office looks clean and modern, rigourous cleaning procedures appear to be in place and Dr. Zhang appears pleasant enough. Contrary to some other posts written, I have found the reception area staff courteous. Another selling point is that the clinic is open 7 days a week although I am a fairly low maintenance patient and doubt I'll require such coverage. Reassuring to know it is there though.
