Beamish G H Dr

Dr beamish was a wonderful doctor retiring now. It’s disappointing his wife / office assistant tarnished his practice. The worst person I have ever met to be in front of a desk. Made every experience in that clinic absolutely dreadful. It’s a shame. But the silver lining is there is only up from here on the search to find a new family doctor. I wish dr beamish a great retirement. Thankful for his trust and assistance.

My dr. Of 38 years. For the most part he has been a good gp. However, since his newest admin. Assistant his wife, I might add, started behind the desk, things have changed significantly with this doctor and his practice. Although time consuming, this Dr. used to contact his patients about test results regardless of the results. This is definitely above and beyond, but its shows the direction his practice headed... not welcoming by his assistance, she has a condescending attitude which results in her speaking loadly regardless of the confidentiality while belittling patients. When she is speaking on the phone, she can be heard in the waiting room all details of the phone call from one side. Appointments have become more challenging to make within a reasonable time frame to see the doctor. Most recently, I was advised it was a 3 week wait. I'm not speaking of vacation. On the vacation topic, there is no back up for this dr when he's away. Most practices seem to be in a clinic form or at least have another doctor on back up. I'm not sure how Dr. Beamish feels about how his assistant treats his patients? He must be aware as she speaks to him the same way in front of patients. More recently, Dr. Beamish had a temp admin. assistant while the other assistant was off. Both my interactions with the temp assistant were pleasant and Dr. Beamish appeared a little more at ease/relaxed during my visit.

Dr.Beamish is a great doctor but the experience you get from that doctors office, because of the medical secretary, is the absolute worst! She treats everyone with disrespect and is not accommodating at all!

If I could give him ZERO I would!! Nothing more to be said.
