I purchased a duplicate Veer Toddler Comfort Seat XL by mistake. As soon as I realized the error, I opened the package and saw I had accidentally ordered two. I contacted both the store and the online team the very next day to return one of them, but was told they would not accept the return or even provide a store credit.nnThe item was brand new, unused, and in original condition, yet the refusal was absolute simply because the cardboard & plastic wrap was open. For a children’s store where families often spend thousands over the years, I found this to be extremely poor customer service. Mistakes happen, and reputable retailers typically stand behind their policies with at least some flexibility.nnUnfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider shopping at West Coast Kids in the future.nnEdit: After some pushing back and time spent to convince the WCK team to offer a refund, they did ultimately offer a full store credit for this unused item.
I ordered the Vista UPPAbaby stroller from this company in September 2025 for my daughter's baby. The colour I ordered was on pre-order colour and shipping will be sometime in October. Which is fine because her baby shower is in October. So I was hoping it will come before the shower or shortly after. October came around and I received an email stating the stroller I ordered will now be shipped in November!!! I wasn't accepting this, so I emailed them letting them know I can get the same stroller on Amazon. It was alot of back and forth because I wasn't able to get a refund, I told them I don't need the stroller I bought the same one on Amazon and it got delivered within a week. In the end I was issued a refund.nDo not ordered from them till they change their policy.nWest Coast Kids, you need to do better. Find a better supplier and if the item is back ordered you need to give your clients a option for a full refund or choose a different a colour. Offer them options, don't hold their money hostage and expect them to wait for a product which they can easily find on Amazon or other sites.
I ran to buy a last minute Christmas present for a child. I got a Boho Luxe Gymini. I've noticed that the box is broken in a few places, but I thought it's just a box. I can't express my feelings when I opened the box and realized that it's used one which is sold as a new. Nobody even cared to somehow pack it.
My husband and I recently visited the store to find the best stroller for our baby on the way and possibly for future siblings and we had an amazing experience thanks to James!nnJames was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. He walked us through multiple stroller options from different brands, showing us various configurations that could grow with our family. There were so many choices on the showroom floor, and James took the time to explain the pros and cons of each without ever making us feel rushed or pressured.nnWhat really stood out was when I asked if he worked on commission and he said no! I was genuinely surprised because he went above and beyond for us. It’s clear he’s passionate about what he does and truly cares about helping customers find what works best for them.nnWe were also really impressed with how big and well organized the store is. They have everything from clothing and toys to strollers, car seats, playpens, and nursery furniture. It was a one stop shop for all things baby!nnHighly recommend both the store and James if you're looking for expert guidance and a great selection.
