I accompanied my daughter-in-law to the Bayview location to purchase a stroller and car seat. I was initially hesitant because I had read many negative reviews beforehand. However, we ended up having an excellent experience.nnJames, the sales associate who helped us, was exactly what a salesperson should be, friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to listen carefully to our needs and offered helpful recommendations without any pressure.nnHe was an absolute delight to deal with, and thanks to his assistance we felt confident making our purchases at this location. Excellent customer service can make all the difference, and James truly delivered.
James was absolutely amazing at guiding us on our new parenthood adventure. We were total beginners when it came to strollers and large gear, but his expertise and friendly approach put us right at ease. We walked away feeling confident and informed. Thank you for such a great experience!
I would never recommend anyone do business with West Coast Kids, and given their refusal to cancel my order or return my payment, I am now forced to pursue a chargeback.nnAbsolutely disappointing experience with West Coast Kids.nnThe behaviour from the front desk staff at the store was rude and unprofessional. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was refused, and the call was simply ended rather than anyone attempting to address the issue.nnMeanwhile, head office has been no better. My order is now over three weeks late, yet West Coast Kids refuses to cancel the order and refuses to return my payment. Despite numerous attempts to get answers, every customer service representative seems to provide a different explanation about where the item is and when it will arrive.nnCustomer service has been virtually non-existent. Emails go unanswered, and despite multiple requests, a manager from head office has never returned a call.nnI understand that delays can happen. What is unacceptable is the lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service. Customers should not have to spend weeks chasing a company for accurate information about an order that has already been paid for.nnOverall, I am extremely dissatisfied with West Coast Kids. Between the poor treatment at the store, the lack of response from head office, and the refusal to resolve an overdue order, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have had.
Vanessa and Des are the real car seat and booster seat MVPs. They’re super knowledgeable, kind, and patient, ensuring that you fully understand the options available for different brands and making sure the selection is a good fit for your child. Big thanks to them for making our shopping experience as smooth as possible. Would recommend WCK for your car seat needs.
I ordered the Vista UPPAbaby stroller from this company in September 2025 for my daughter's baby. The colour I ordered was on pre-order colour and shipping will be sometime in October. Which is fine because her baby shower is in October. So I was hoping it will come before the shower or shortly after. October came around and I received an email stating the stroller I ordered will now be shipped in November!!! I wasn't accepting this, so I emailed them letting them know I can get the same stroller on Amazon. It was alot of back and forth because I wasn't able to get a refund, I told them I don't need the stroller I bought the same one on Amazon and it got delivered within a week. In the end I was issued a refund.nDo not ordered from them till they change their policy.nWest Coast Kids, you need to do better. Find a better supplier and if the item is back ordered you need to give your clients a option for a full refund or choose a different a colour. Offer them options, don't hold their money hostage and expect them to wait for a product which they can easily find on Amazon or other sites.
