West 9th Dental Dr. Lisa Rai

I waited close to 1 month to post this, and reluctantly still do. I don't think negative reviews should be given without careful thought. Long story short, the office froze me fully before noticing equipment wasn't working. They indicated I would have to come back, and would be in touch to reschedule (as the appointment booking software was also not working). Over 2 weeks later I received an auto notice about my next appointment, to which I replied I hadn't heard anything re: the previous appointment. 8 days after that I finally received a note about the incident, and apology. I'm sure the team is friendly and knowledgeable. The lack of follow-up to an obvious mistake was frustrating. And then delay again in response was unfortunately the catalyst. Giving 1 star is harsh, and 3 too much. This is mainly just a note to keep the business accountable in a run of 5 star ratings.

I attended West 9th Dental for regular cleanings, and 1 filling, over the course of my 5 years living in Vancouver. All the staff at West 9th Dental is wonderful, from the front desk to Dr. Lisa Rai and of course all the excellent hygienists! They really turn what can sometimes be a dreaded event into a very pleasant experience. Plus, they did some nice office upgrades and have TV for you to watch while you're getting your teeth cleaned, which is a decent distraction. I highly recommend this clinic.

Fast, attentive, gentle and high quality. In a word: excellent. Dr. Rai is incredible. I most recently saw her to have a few broken teeth repaired. They were broken on a Sunday night and she made an emergency appointment for me so that they were fixed 12 hours after being broken! Not only was she fast, but you can't tell where my teeth end and the repair work begins. Her entire staff is quick, smart and caring. They take the time to explain any questions and make you feel like they really want the best for their patients. A trip here will definitely give you something to smile about.

I have been going to this clinic location for over 40 years & have been very satisfied with Dr Wilson & Dr Tran & for the last several years with Dr Rai. I have enjoyed the clinic & all the staff members & would highly recommend this dental clinic to anyone looking for a good professional dentist.

I have been happily a patient of Dr. Rai now for few years, after trying a couple of other dental clinics. I am very satisfied with the level of care I receive from Dr. Rai and all the staff. Dr. Rai is both friendly, and professional. Being a healthcare professional myself I can see how knowledgeable she is with practice updates. I recommend her immediately when a friend of mine is looking for a dentist in the city.
