Food portions are very small. Fries were not filled up all the way. Very hard to order food through drive thru as the speaker is not very clear.
Great Opening Experience. Love the quick service despite the steady traffic. Had the order right so hopefully they keep it this way compared to the others. If you have a smaller trailer there is parallel parking on the back side by the drive thru which is nice. Love how Wendy’s offers good service and polite/friendly window services. This place is no different. Keep up the great work, glad to have you as part of our town.
Visited here on a thursday evening at 530pm. No staff to be found. Someone eventually came out and was extremely rude. I ordered my food and it came out cold. The person making my burger also took the patty off the grill with her hands indicating how cold the burger was. Next time I will be going to Mary Browns.
The tables and especially the floor were filthy. The staff member brought out the broom and dustpan however he only swept a few large scraps. No one bothered to disinfect any of the tables.Food: 4/5
Went through the drive thru here today. There were two cars in front of me but I was still able to order, get my meal and be on my way in like 2 minutes. The service was incredibly fast and friendly & my meal was hot & fresh.
One of the best staffed Wendy's I ever been too but when I think about it, that's all Wendy's I've been to Wendy's in Canada, all the way down to the state of Ohio, Florida Life time favorite of our families, we would go to Wendy's
Ordered a few chicken wraps. Almost choked on a strange piece of long plastic material. No idea what this was, would not recommend/10.
So I have to say that Wendy's in Port Elgin is an entirely different experience than it is an Owen Sound. I honestly don't think that they use the Applewood smoked bacon on their baconators Or any of the burghers that have bacon on them in Port. It's a different bacon and believe me when I tell you I've eaten enough baconators to know the difference. Applewood bacon is thick and has a unique flavor and it's always cooked to the perfect Crispness in Owen sound. The Port Elgin branch uses a wimpy cast off version of what they're trying to pass off as being Applewood Bacon... No way is it applewood nope no way... not at all ...they're ripping us off! And I'm not sure what's worse, the fact that the bacon is horribly undercooked and has a slightly discolored look to it or the fact that they're literally trying to pass it off as the real deal!! Theyre probably taking home the real bacon for their own use.. I don't know? what's the explanation?... The picture was the generous amount of bacon I got with my Burger.....
Inside the restaurant is very dirty. The people are very hard to understand. The chicken sandwich was tough also. Won't be returning. Disgusting!!!!
Southwest Salad was excellent baked potatoe barely warm? Order taker said check online for any allergens and wouldn't check... Online didn't have any ingredients information about the caramel apple frosty nor did the app which says it's supposed to list them all. Was fast and efficient otherwise tho. Parking: 3 or 4 spots by main door 2 or 3 around other side of building
