Today my husband and I had our lunch here. All the ingredients were very fresh and delicious. I wasn’t sure what sauce should I choose for the taco bowl of barbacoa I had, the gentleman kindly suggested the cilantro sauce and I loved it! He was very professional and friendly! The restaurant was very clean and we enjoyed our lunch! Thanks for great service!!
First time here, the service was great, the restaurant was very clean. Got veggie enchiladas, and man were they great. The combo was worth it as the nachos were a good portion and the hot salsa was delicious and fresh. Will return. Vegetarian options: Got the veggie enchiladas
First off the food I have had there in the last has been good. This evening 1/05/2023 I was in for dinner. I waited and waited and waited to be served. Finally I walked out and will NEVER go back. A woman was placing a “large order” as they put it and they felt that ALL 3 people working there needed to attend to hers and ONLY her needs. I guess my smaller order was of no importance and all of the staff needed to attend to that ONE individual. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Again I will NEVER go back. Guess they have a big enough client base here in Port Elgin that they can afford to treat some customers with little or no regards.
Walked in and it smelled so good. We couldn't wait to try a burrito. Lots of options for toppings. Sadly the burritos were so bland. They had no taste which was odd considering it smelled so good. I got bean and cheese, the husband got beef on his, in addition to beans. The beans had no seasoning. Husband said the meat was bland. We were so disappointed. We also ordered chips and queso. The queso was not good. I'm not sure what it was but, if it had any cheese in it, it was not much. They covered up the lack of flavor with heat. It was very spicy but absolutely flavorless. The service was great, but that was about it. Likely won't return. After we ate there, others said they had similar experiences. Not worth it.
This has become one of ours favourites. My family chose not to go here for awhile because we didn’t like guacamole and because the restaurant was called Guac we assumed it was all things guacamole you only get guacamole if you requested it. I am so happy we gave it a chance, it is soo good, soo filling and the staff is sooo friendly, we have decided to make it our weekly spot. Thank you so much for everything Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian and celiac options.
The best Mexican food I have ever eaten in Canada. Harsh makes it so good with personal touch always with the smile , him and his wife are very hard working couple. I have eaten at three locations of Guac Harsh you make it the best . Today I tried the Aurora location not at all like you make it . You are the best . Whenever I visit Port I look forward to eat at your Guac . Thank you very much for the best Mexican food . Vegetarian options: Barrito in a bowl and Nachos
This is probably my favorite food in the community. I've had it at least a dozen times and have NEVER been disappointed. I enjoy bringing family and friends to try it and they are always impressed. Get the chicken burrito the "small" is plenty of food or the steak. I wasn't a big fan of the ground beef but that is personal preference.
Been there for couple of time and couldn’t resist my self to write reviews for this Amazing place. Service was top notch with smile and love our food as well. Keep up good work guys
This was our first time eating at this Gauc Mexi Grill location and after the horrendous service received we won’t be back. Food was mediocre, and the woman who served my family could not be bothered we were there. We were treated like an inconvenience . Ordered three items, one being a kids meal for our three year old. He has dietary restrictions which do not allow him to have juice, and I explained this to her. I asked if he could substitute for a bottle of water and she did not care at all saying no it only comes with juice. She could have offered him tap water in a cup, anything but as mentioned it didn’t matter to her. We are talking about a small child for goodness sakes. Completely insensitive after we are spending $40. In addition to her snickering at the cash as she told the girl who was cashing us out. To top it off she covered the nachos in some sort of seasoning we never asked for and we had to scoop all of our toppings off into the garbage when we got home and realized she put it on. Beyond frustrating. Don’t waste your money or time. Plenty of other places out there who appreciate their customers and make food orders correct.
Fairly priced, authentic Mexican food in my opinion at least. I was hoping hot sauce could be hotter
