Purchased two chicken sandwiches today 4/22 @ 1:30pm. Forest Lake One was the "spicier" version as shown in photo and the other just the crispy chicken sandwich. Both were mushy and cold. Bacon was chewy and unedible. What a disappointment. The fried pickles or whatever they were supposed to be tasted rancid. What a waste of over $12.00.
I've already rated but feel the need to do so again. I decided to try their breakfast, bad idea. I got the biscuits and gravy, it was SO awful, the sausage was burnt, and the gravy was like paste, it was thick and gritty. I also got a maple honey biscuit and they put so much butter that it was dripping out the foil. Not to mention their customer service is still horrible no matter what time of day you go.
Won’t be back, must be a shortage onions, not a good customer experience, no receipt and didn’t get to use rewards to add my points, very limited on talking to me, wish I would have went somewhere else
This is by far one of the worst fast food restaurants forest lake Wendys in the north metro. I gave it three chances over the past year and each time just got worse. My last experience left me feeling embarrassed and I was just a customer. There was a father with two children that looked to be under 10 as well as myself with my 10 and 8 year olds. First of all it cost me nearly $30 for two kids meals and my meal, whatever if the food is good. The food was barely warm, my son ordered no ketchup on his burger only to receive it with about three times the normal amount you'd expect on a burger, mine was pink throughout and leaking grease but the worst part was the employees attitudes. They treated me okay while I ordered but one was screaming at the other employees all females while we waited for our food. Once we sat down to eat they continued being super loud and swearing, joking around and talking acting like hood rats. These were all women in their 30s from what I could tell. Needless to say I left their hungry and feeling embarrassed how they acted.
The employees were distasteful as they were laughing at us and generally rude. The food wasn’t half bad but the workers made me wanna go somewhere else. I’ve been a fast food worker but I’ve never treated a customer like that
I asked if I could substitute the bourbon burger with a chicken patty instead and not change anything else. Would’ve paid extra and never had an issue before. I was met with an extremely rude no. They’re rude every time. Not personable. Zero customer service. When I called them out on it all they got upset and refused to serve me. Can’t support Wendy’s ever again if this is the type of customer service they’re willing to accept.
I hate leaving reviews, especially negative ones, but oh my. The food for a Wendy's was mid at best, the sinks in the women's bathroom were broken, the toilet paper holder in there was being held together with tape, they put in our order wrong and didn't give us our receipt ~$30 for two sandwich meals with baconator fries instead of regular fries? Nope, we got both, bringing the anticipated price to $40 and we couldn't even fix it until after, and there were workers arguing loudly insults and such the entire time we were there which is pretty unprofessional. Just not worth it
Worst customer service ever! We order 3 large frosties, they tried giving us a medium for one and tried telling us we didn't order 3 larges. Instead of correcting the mistake the manager rudely came to the window and asked for more money. The employee whom took the order repeated it back at the time of order so we know we order larges for all 3. The manager took our money and told us we could leave with just our frosted even thou we ordered meals and already paid for them. I unfortunately had to choose to use cuss words, the manager to use to not f-ing come back and call me a crazy B! Well that's great customer service from a manager. I don't care if she had a bad day but she should NEVER be cussing at customers!!! I don't care if the customer is wrong the manager should make things right no matter what. Her staff was even calling me names! Wow!!!
I love this place. They could could be nicer in the drive through. I wanted salt last time and they just slam the window before i can even as for it.Food: 4/5
Food was excellent. That review alone would be 5 stars. However, traveling with two kids in car seats, nothing is more irritating than getting fully out of a car and being locked out of a fast food establishment. If you are going to force me to use the drive thru, at a minimum, please post a sign that the lobby is closed.
