Went for a meal today at Wendel Clark's. It was quite quiet when we were there. Service was quick and correct. Friendly service. I had the shrimp tacos and a side salad. Everything looked fresh and crisp and the cajun garlic butter shrimp were delicious. A bit spicy but not overly spicy. I like spice and paired with the honey lime dressing it was so tasty. My friend had the potato & bacon soup and battered fish which was huge! She enjoyed her meal as well!
Very busy, but the service was fast. I ate at the bar, so I didn't wait long. I had the Steak Frites. It was pretty good, but not baseball cut, really just a small sirloin. The demi-glace was great! The fries were good but a little dry. The decor and ambiance is exactly what you expect of a nice sports bar. My wife told me about this place I'm in town for work and I would come back with her Parking: The parking was pretty full. It's joined with the Days Inn besides. But there's a AG convention in town and a concert tonight. I was still able to score a sweet spot next to the door.
My husband and I finally ate here. So glad we did! Great food and good service. Price is comparable to other restaurants. Let me tell you about their fries! So freaking good!! Amazing homemade look and taste! We would go back just for the fries! We have definitely add Wendel’s to our favourite places to eat.
Got the chance to try this place out and they delivered well! The place has a lively ambiance. You have the option of either in the bar or in the dining area. The service was great. Food tasted delicious - with great portions actually and the food was priced generously. Their cheesecake was amazing! Will definitely be back!
Food was great as always! Talk to the servers about not standing in the view of the guests when they decided to gossip and complain about there tables. Very unprofessional and remind them Tips are given for Over and above service. Been in the services industry for over 25 years.
We visited for a family dinner of 6. First time here since it was Tony Roma's back in the day. A couple delicious Dill Pickle Caesars, a Coors Lite, Gin Soda & a Long Island Ice Tea to start. Entrees included Beef Dip Au Jus, Thai Salmon Salad, 2 Captain Crunch Wrap, Chicken Burger & Fish Tacos. Service & atmosphere was great as well as the food & drink selections
Highly recommend this place! Our family came here for supper and we all got a mix of different dishes. The picture shows the Captain crunch wrap, tic tac toe tacos, and fish and chips. All dishes were amazing with great flavour and good amount of serving. The yam fries were crispy and the kettle chips were well seasoned. The all dishes came with a honey dill dip and the food was prepared very quickly. Service was friendly and the gentleman who brought the dishes out was very welcoming. I would recommend anyone to give this place a try! Prices are fair and well worth the meal!
Great Great food! Came out very quick. Delicious as always. Didnt realize till I got home that we were charged for kids meal when it was kids eat free day :/
It was our first visit to Wendel Clark’s. First impressions were great as the pictures online don’t do the vibe justice. You can sit either in the restaurant area or the bar, which has plenty of TVs to watch your favourite sports. The food was simply great. I had the best fish and chips anywhere and my wife had the blackened chicken Brie sandwich to die for. We’ll definitely be back again to try out Wednesday Wing night and happy hour from 3-6
Again just a great place, We were in Saskatoon for the weekend , so of course we went to Wendel Clarks Sat night for game 7 of the maple leafs and again what a great place, Drank some dill picked caesars, had a goat cheese entree, my wife had the fish and chips while I had the 1/2 portion of nachos…. The staff, what can I say… just great smiles, great service and awesome ambiance, We love this place, great food It’s a must if you come to town. The only neg thing … the leafs lost. Thanks see ya next time we’re in town We travel cross country so due to covid we got delivery instead of eating in and as usual, food was great and amazingly hot as it was -32. Keep up the great work Awesome and friendly staff Wendel Clark’s is a must when we’re in Saskatoon
