Story

We Have Issues is a comic and pop culture shop jam-packed with great collectables, back issues, new comics, toys, statues, games, and more! We are striving to be a unique shopping experience for Edmonton and area! We offer a great file subscription service that includes new perks all the time, and are adding new in-store events on a regular basis in order to support local non-profit organizations and help them reach their fundraising goals! We look forward to having you check out our shop!

"First and foremost, we are comic and toy collectors too. We remember waiting until Saturday and then trying to convince our mom to drive us around to four or five different comic stores, all the while searching for one particular issue that we had missed. We Have Issues opened in November 2014 with a mandate to bring back some of that excitement that we had experienced as collectors when we were young. Aside from an amazing collection of older key issues we also carry 1000s of back issues as well as current comics and toys. We have discounts for new comic file customers and we have a customer friendly consignment program for file customers. We are always buying and selling used comics and toys."

Recently discovered this hidden gem and have to say, loved it. For pop culture fans and collectors, a spot like this is badly needed in the city. Well organized with tons of vintage collectibles, this is really a cool place to check out. Will come back.

Really cool place! It's hidden just north of Barb and Ernie's. The parking lot is small so best thing is to park in the street. Very small and quaint. Reminds of comic book warehouse over 20 years ago off Jasper and 109th. There is plenty of inventory in this store and the prices are very reasonable. Great to see a local place like this in Edmonton after the pandemic. I dropped off a magazine and a few comics for pressing and grading. Paul was very helpful and honest. Looking forward to returning!

I have no issues with We Have Issues. Owner is friendly and helpful. If a comic book store is in a warehouse-like building it’s always a good sign for back issues. And the back issues are well-organized! They offer lots of current issues, subscription service, but the best part of their store is the expansive selection of back issues with new stuff coming in as well as lots of collectable items. Most of it is by the owner but there are a few mini stores within the store too.

Awesome comic shop. Paul and co. are super friendly and always offer sound advice. Love the weekly claim / BIN diving videos. I always end up finding something i “need” that I didn’t need prior to entering.

This store is a treasure trove of comics and collectibles. The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. Well worth a visit.

This comics store is the best comics store in all Alberta. This place is awesome.!! The owner is a real passionate, he will help you to find your happiness. For me , i found old comics which i was looking for since long time and i was lucky to discover some rare pieces  Thank you Paul for this magic moment !!!!

We have issues is one of the best comic stores I've been to. Paul has answers and resolutions to almost all of your queries. He makes various requests and demands possible through his PULL accounts. Very friendly and polite by nature. We have issues not only gives you access to the latest weekly comic issues but also a tonne of back issues, graphic novels, ratio issues, collectibles, etc.

Very well organized and the owner is super friendly. Had some candy and little action figures for my two little guys. There is a huge selection of books and figures. He has a giant stock of back issues and you're bound to find an issue you're looking for. Will be back
