Waves Coffee House was great! Love the interior, it was modern and welcoming. The mocha was delicious! It was caffeinated and I thoroughly enjoyed the milk chocolate in it. Additionally, the service was kind and fast
Can I just say that this is THE BEST cafe in Edmonton! Although it’s a bit small in space, the staff never fails to go out of their way to provide the best service! The place is always clean, washroom is spotless and tidy, and lobby is well maintained. It’s also a really great place to study and do schoolwork as a student, highly recommend! I also just wanted to express my gratitude to the male worker who went out of his way to help my friend with Wi-Fi issues, and even went ahead to lower the blinds down when I was being blinded by the light; it was truly appreciated. Lastly, the White Matcha is a MUST TRYY hot or cold both is good!!
Great little coffee shop in the West end, I met my friends here for coffee. I got the latte and the chicken wrap. My latte came with beautiful latte art. Most tables fit two comfortably.

Finally made it into Waves after considering it for several years, I was not disappointed in any way. The coffee was good a long with the selections being plenty. Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was accommodating. Will definitely be back and probably use the drive throughFood: 5/5
The coffee is great but the prices are crazy. They apparently raised their prices 0.40/each for ice coffee without changing their signs so they’re just charging people more than they’re advertising. I guess people aren’t questioning it? But when my total was $10 instead of $7 something it didn’t make any sense. For $4.35 they should be offering more than a waves size which is equivalent to a standard medium. I like it here but it’s hard to justify the cost for straight coffee.
Waves serves the best caramel macchiato in the city. Drive through is very quick to serve your orderFood: 5/5
Great little place. Caught up with a friend here and I can say they have fantastic drinks! Ice coffees are amazing! However their food not so much. I have a vegitarian wrap and I can say it's not worth the price. Lacks flavour.Food: 2/5
This is a local spot and I expected very little the first time I went there. They are always respectably busy. Not packed, but locals seem to like it. I think there was an ownership change since I first went there and I can see it has definitely improved the food selection. Overall, not too shabby and a good option if you aren’t into Starbucks.
I give this place 3.5 stars. It is pretty good but sometimes hit or miss. It was over $6 for a very mediocre hot chocolate that wasn't even a large. That is TOO much for something that isn't amazing imo. I've had some quite pleasant drinks but again for the prices of the special drinks, I can't give it 4. Happy to have a half decent place that ISNT star bucks in the west end. We are very starved so I do keep going to support this place. Edit: thanks for the reply- that is good to hear you don’t use syrups or powders. I appreciate the efforts to make quality drinks!
