I didn't take advantage of the full facilities as I was there for a kids birthday party. The party room was nice, clean before the aftermath of the party, and the furniture was in good repair. Just looking around the place it seemed active with a range of community friendly events taking place.there are two playgrounds outside that kept my 5 and 7 year old busy for a whole on our way out. Picture below is NOT the facility, but the cool old concrete grain silos behind the centre.
Today was my first experience BUT the staff was beyond amazing. We had rehearsals for a fashion here and the amount of questions I asked the staff, I literally thought they'd tell me to leave. But they were so friendly and helpful. Plus the area is gorgeous!!
They have varies sport plus other activities. The coaches are amazing especially with kids! My son is having a great time and he gets 2 days off and he wishes he was going on those days too!
Nice place has a small gym. They have lots of activities but unfortunately its main focus is only basketball as a recreational sport
Remains one of the best kept secrets in the city. Has fabulous seniors', families', and children's programs. Great Halloween and Christmas decorations!
Weight room is a little dusty but nothing beats the price! It’s also very quiet so you can get a good workout in. Staff are super nice too. Great atmosphere to be in
Lots of activities for people and children of all ages. I took my daughter to the Early ON program and she had fun for the most part busy observing all the kids. She did colour with markers. Her highlight was playing with play doh as we threw hers out all brown after a while. There were also many people there for the basketball in the gym.
The staff here are the best in the city bar none. They have first class meeting rooms for rent, children and tween programs and a first class outdoor basketball court as well as access to computers and the internet. What every community centre should be.
I visited this space with my boyfriend as we recently moved into this community. Right from the front staff, the environment was friendly and welcoming. The staff invited us for a tour of the whole facility and explained all the programing and activities available to us. The environment was clean, organized, bright and vibrant. The space is used intelligently with numerous spaces for youth artitsic activities including, music. From the outside, we really undestimated the spaces compared to how well it is executed inside!
Variety of programs offered at a good value. Staff truly care about their community, are helpful and warm. I would have given a 5 star rating but I think there is an opportunity to improve the program registration process.
