I am currently completing my placement with Kapisanan and I'm really happy with my experience so far! Kapisanan provides such a dynamic range of opportunities for youth to explore Filipinx culture and identity. Everyone is so warm and inclusive, and you can tell that they love what they do :
I did my high school co-op placement here, and I left with nothing but good memories and experiences! The staff are helpful, inclusive and friendly. Kapisanan Philippine Centre hosts events and workshops that are culturally engaging not just for those who identify as FIlipinx, everyone is welcome!
I attended the Ulam workshop and it was very fun and informative. Got to make great traditional Filipino food and reminded me of back home. Keep it up Kapisanan !
Went to Kultura with my mom and we both enjoyed the experience! The food was great and the live music was even better. Took me back to my true Filipino roots.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the food !!
