Waterford Medical Associates

I visit Waterford Medical as my personal, primary doctor is there. Dr. Coleman. They reside within a medical building, 2nd floor. Medical building is clean and upkept. Doctor's offices are very up to date and extremely clean. Very professional staff, yet maintain a friendly personal atmosphere. Sometimes I wait a little bit to be called back, but with my doctor and willing to be all doctors within office, just that kind of office I never complain. Why? You are NEVER rushed. You never leave until all your questions are answered. Until you understand fully any treatment.

I don't normally write reviews but I'm so disappointed in this office. First of all, I loved Dr. B. He was fantastic. Sadly I was never informed that he retired so when it came time to renew my prescriptions I called and was told I'd have to make an appointment with another doctor. it's literally just heartburn medication. That's fine and all but I also guess I'm considered a "new patient" so would have to wait TILL DEC /JAN. To see the doctor that took over his patients. I've been going to this office for years and the doctor that I wanted to see has even seen me while Dr. B was on vacation. I honestly don't see why I have to go in for a refill to begin with but even so they could look at my chart and see everything that was previously prescribed. Completely left me high and dry, now hustling to find a new primary that can get me in sooner to refill my meds... front desk was also short and not even understanding so I will be finding a new practioner.

I am a long time patient of Waterford Medical Associates and will no longer be using them as my primary physician's office. As I called to schedule an appointment for today, I was prompted to leave a message for them to call me back at THEIR convenience. That is horrible customer service. Once they finally called me back, 2 hours later, I tried to schedule my appointment. I was told that I couldn't see my doctor for another month and a half. Are you kidding me? Absolutely terrible!!! I would not recommend them to anybody!

My experience with Dr. Coleman is always 10/10. The only thing I can say about her office though is that her staff is extremely rude and they “forget” to remind you of your appts the day before. They also give out your info to family members when they shouldn’t do that. My mom goes to that office as well and they called her phone instead of mine telling her what type of medication I’m on in her voicemail when my moms phone number is no where on my paperwork. When I brought it up in the office All they said is “we apologize”. I definitely don’t recommend. Finding a new doctor as we speak

Dr. Coleman is a true gem! The front office staff are amazing and super helpful. Some of the negative comments seem to have hatred behind them, showing me that they patients are probably rude from the moment they try to schedule. Just my two cents.

I went there to get my son a sports physical and I had to pay $20 and I did not have it. I was told that it was always that way. My son had a sports physical before and we did not have to pay whether the old office on Pontiac Road did it as a courtesy or not I should have been told about the $20 fee at the time I scheduled the appointment and I wasn't it was suggested that I go to the health department if I wanted to go there I would have taken him there. My son has been a patient for many years of Waterford Medical and I was offended by the suggestion. Now he is going to miss a week of wrestling practice and my son is a very good wrestler. Waterford Medical Associates THANKS FOR NOTHING!!! If Dr Hawkins wasn't so good and if my son didn't like him so much I would change his doctor again THANKS FOR NOTHING!!

Been going there since 2009. At first it was a great doctor's office. Then i notice a slight decline but since McClaren took over it has gotten worse. Initially they were bad on calling back with test results and wait times were ridiculous. Now the wait time is worse and the medical staff seems to not even know what they are doing. They can't even keep track of when or if my child has had his last HPV shot. And then they notified me that they do not participate in the vaccination program any longer since McClaren took over and any further vaccinations need to be done at the Health Department. You would think they would have sent something in the mail seeing that they mail you a letter telling you how longs its been since youre last appointment. They forgot to take my daughter's height and weight during a yearly physical and when I mentioned it. I was told 'oh it fine she looks okay.' In my opinion this place has become useless and I am currently searching for a new physician.

First and last time at this location. Poorly marked entrance. I use a walker and was in horrible pain, 1-10, it was an 8, a 10 by the time I spent in the 12• weather. Tried going back to my car and call to ask how to get inside That failed, even when I chose the ext to speak to someone, the appointment ext, said they were with patients. I remained parked and the only people who left after close was 1 Dr., & 1 female, I believe was a nurse or receptionist. After moving to the area from N. Mich, I have yet to find a decent doctor near me in Waterford. I think I'll continue going to Farmington. Henry Ford health care system has helped me beat a 2ND diagnosis of cancer, they are helpful to senior citizens, and assist my disabled self, get from point to point. My spine is very visible to an untrained eye that it's beyond 60 degrees, crowding all organs, especially both lungs making it difficult to take in each breath. This office had no empathy. I'm glad they were lazy af? One time being put through this hell, is one to many. Don't come here if you need fast, understanding medical care! I'm just plain angry, the cold and added pain clearly pushed giving a scathing review!

Desk staff is rude. Don’t return calls misdiagnosed my daughter said she had shin splints actually had a bone cyst the size of an egg. After I let Blue cross know the 70plus year old doctor Miraculously retired. Many many more issues basically I got better insurance and went back to a real doctors office

This place has gone downhill since joining McLaren. 2 doctors left the practice & they have struggled to find replacements making it difficult to get appointments. There used to be xrays, ultrasounds and other tests on site, now you have to go the hospital. There was also a pharmacy in site, this also is closed since the merger. The staff is still very good but the number of services available has decreased significantly.
