Common Ground Resource & Crisis Center

I was in a deep crisis during my divorce back in 1993 I had nowhere else to turn but to Common Ground and they helped me tremendously they directed me on where I needed to go and what I needed to do. Because of how deep my crisis was and how depressed I became it was suggested that I attend havenwyck Hospital outpatient day Center it was the greatest thing I ever done in my life they changed me and gave me understanding as to why was in the crisis I was in I was so psychotic and wanted to commit suicide and homicide and they helped me out of the situation as I became psychotic in my depression I didn't know what else to do so when I called common ground it was the best thing I ever done I want to thank everybody that common ground and havenwyck who helped me and now I am a CNS patient and have been since 1996 and I have loved every minute of their help and understanding

Got shouted at by staff for having an adverse drug reaction to Zyprexa (which I was illegally coerced to take). Then secluded in a cramped room by security, kept overnight. Made it like everything was my fault. Revolting way to rope someone into the system and waste a month of their life. Leave Common Ground when you can and the "crisis" is averted.

I've been there five times now for my son who needs help. This last time they have finally decided to have him hospitalized however "it's the weekend and there are no beds available" so we are going to keep the both of you locked up in a unsanitary room with urine all over the toilet, and the t.v. even looked like it was covered in urine. - "until a bed becomes available- which could be DAYS!" With out food and a clean space. No Thanks, call CPS assholes...I'm taking my son home to feed him and to give him a clean and safe place to sleep. Common Ground is nothing but a joke! Waste of time and energy.

This is the worst place to get help. I went there and the staff were fighting amongst themselves. The coach, didn't do anything but eat pretzels and watch Facebook. I stayed for hours in OACIS before they said i didnt meet criteria for any program. Ill never return here. Get help elsewhere. If you can avoid it don't ever go here for anything.
