Treated very well for the 2 months I was there following my back surgery. Therapies were fantastic. The nursing staff on the units were great but always short staffed and over worked. Thank you all for your care.
I'll never forgive these "people" for the way they treated my quadriplegic sister. They only had her for about four months because she contracted cancer and died. Bringing her to this place was a huge mistake.
It is a hit and miss trying to FaceTime my mom which is the only contact possible during CoViD right now. Some staff are great but you have to be worried when nurses or care staff tell you they will help mom to connect and it just doesn’t happen many times over and over for all of my mom’s 5 kids including me. And no we are not all trying to do so 5 times a day. More or less it is one of us per day. We are fiercely protective of our mom and we are starting to feel there is some neglect and possible abuse going on. We will not hesitate to contact legal services if this does not improve. To the staff who are helpful we hold you in high regard. For thor who don’t really care and you know who you are, either improve your quality of care which definitely includes being helpful and reliable with access to communication with loved ones or your actions may come under legal scrutiny. I know this is a tough time for all but please know you will not get away with neglecting or abusing our mom.
I was injured in a car accident and attended physio for a year before being sent here by the insurance company due to lack of progress. I had an Awful experience before I ever got there, never recovered and got cut off from any support and insurance I had because they did not continue looking into my issues further when I insisted something was wrong. They pushed me back to work early and I could Not do my job but they told me and my employer I could do it in full without ever stepping foot in the building. Knowing it was extremely physical. I did learn a couple of useful things from the excercise therapist like how to do a proper squat but that is literally all got out of my forced 10 week stay. Meanwhile my doctors and other physio therapists told me directly it was not necessary to attend there as I was having trouble with child care and other programs more local to me could be very effective given the appropriate timeline it was a 3 hour drive to home for me as evident with my current standing issues they rushed me through to sastify the insurance company since few people could afford this treatment on there own. It has been almost a year since I attended and I still have issues to the point I can not resume my regular day to day activities and when seeking medical help, because they are “god” quote from two family doctors the clinics word is final and you can only get help Outside of Saskatchewan after they discharge you. To top it off the director of the rehab clinic was exceedingly rude to me on more than one occasion. I didn’t get the mental help I needed either even though they have a psychologist on staff I saw once a week and this also lead to a large degree of other issues shortly thereafter. They left me with no job, no money and no hope.
This is an incredible family-like environment for any person who requires therapy or treatment or other medical treatment, surgery or appointment and is from out of town.itisthe biggest secret and theservice is excellent. It caters to those who has limited mobility or handicapped. Try it
My experience on unit 3-2 was not good at all many systemic issues that prevent good healthy interventions. The hotel is accessible but can be complicated to deal with if you’re inpatient
Not a fan of the OT, much better service in Alberta
Dr. Durani was a very caring soft spoken person. She listened to what I was saying and was very sympathetic. Wonderful person
The staff are great but there's never parking available without a permit. I'm here every week and it doesn't matter the time of day. Zero parking.
What can you say nobody wants to end up in rehabilitation and throw a so called pandemic in the mix as well they are doing outstanding considering how everything is turned upside down keep up the good work thank you Wascana rehab
