Warriors is a great shop. And it’s local. The staff were excellent and they’re they are martial artists, which help a lot. I’ve bought a few things there, shoes for boxing, gloves, wraps, headgear and a cup. The manager was excellent and knowledgeable. I love this place. I wish that the staff and all of their loved ones are staying safe and healthy during these crazy times too. Just hurry up and reopen so that I can come and get some new shin guards please. Hahaha Kindest regards, David
Bought a pair of 180' handwraps today. Made the mistake to pay with a $20. Then before even leaving the store, I realized that they also have 120's a little cheaper. I go back to the cashier to exchange. And surprisingly, I am told that it is possible to exchange because... I paid cash. He adds that should I have paid via a cc or debit, no problem. The most ridiculous reason to refuse service to a customer as cash transactions are the easiest ones and do not include a fee as c/c and debit do in some cases for stores. Worth noticing that this is also not specified on the receipt no exchange if paid cash... Back home, I tried to send a message from their "contact us" page in their website, and of course, got an error message after sending... I would not go back to this place.
Warriors Fight Store not only has top quality gear and equipment but the desire and drive shown in the store by employees to the fighters to leave with the CORRECT and REQUIRED gear for their specific training is very transparent and clear. I have purchased gear from this location numerous times in the past 3 years and the gear is good; very strong and durable. Good gear is very important in physical combat sports. The store and the employees here are just like a Martial Art; real, direct and straightforward.
The woman I dealt with at Warriors was rude and full of tude. She was very curt and crusty in her answers to my product questions and just generally abrasive. I guess she never got the memo that all the stuff they carry is available online now. I definitely won't be shopping here again and I don't think many others do either because I've only ever seen one or maybe two other customers in the store in the four times I've been there. Actually I have to modify my last statement, I would consider stepping inside the store again but only for a store closing clearance sale.
Great service. I needed a BJJ belt, which I find difficult to buy online as different brands may have different sizes. I went to this store and had a very friendly and efficient service. I was able to try different brands of belts on, and select the one I liked the most.
good and friendly staff. very limited in choices. no variety and overpriced. most items there you can buy directly from the original companies online and you may pay for less even with shipping. not very surprising considering it's Toronto - which in turn is just plain sad. Canada needs to step its game up.
Good selection, great service! The manager was extremely friendly and helpful, and I found exactly what I needed. I can't believe all the negative reviews on here! The woman that I dealt with was very knowledgeable and absolutely lovely. I will definitely be back!
The woman everyone is complaining about is the best. Yeah she's rough. It's a fight store. Cindy Loo Who is still trying to save Christmas. She not here. Grow some and offer respect and you will be met with the same. Quality products. Competitive prices. Expensive? Blame the Toronto gov't. It's called loyalty. Support small business.
Like others, I too had a most unpleasant experience. I'm not sure if she was the store manager or part time help, but i just could not believe how unfriendly, abrupt and downright rude she was. There's no way this person could be a store manager. I thought perhaps she was having a bad day, but from the other reviews, it looks like lousy customer service at this store is the norm. And what a shame. I really wanted to purchase a couple items as the store is very close to home.
One of the last remaining brick and mortar martial arts stores. This is huge to me as actually being able to put my traiNing gear on before purchasing is critical. Very friendly staff. Always fun dropping by Warriors.
