Warren Country Inn

Never ate here before, stopped in on a whim and were very pleased. Excellent sandwich and some of the best clam chowder we have had. Server was excellent also, very helpful and pleasant, with a great sense of humor. Definitely will come back when in the area.

I've tried it 3 times since they've reopened. Although each time was improved over the last, it hasn't been great yet. Sometimes the people that sit down after you get their food first, sometimes they forget part of your food, sometimes you wait for 45 minutes for service, sometimes you'll never get checked on, or drinks refilled, after you do get your plate. My wife will never go back. I personally will probably give them one more try. I do desperately want to see this place succeed but they need management so badly it's not funny.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. God tasted good although the steak was undercooked from what was ordered and the burger was ordered no tomato and came with tomato all the same. They were slammed with a large party so taking unusual circumstances into consideration this was pretty workable. The menu talks about accommodation for gluten free but the explanation was a little unclear so I ordered food that would be generally safe without modification and did well. Overall it was a good experience but not an "I can't wait to go back" spot.

The food was fantastic! I ordered the meat and gravy omelet, and it was so large I quit pretending I was going to finish it halfway through and enjoyed the other half just as much the next day. The portion size was prehistoric, so come hungry. My wife had a chicken burger that was excellent as well. Given how fantastic the food was you'd think it would be expensive, but the prices were very reasonable. The service was excellent, and we couldn't have enjoyed our visit more. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

The food is wonderful. Saint Helens restaurants mostly disappointe, but for good food, this is the place. We have been here for dinner and breakfast. Good American food, great micro brews, always changing! ****Was my post in February 2017. Something has happened since. Had the most awful food 2 times since. Maybe a new cook? NOT sure, but it's September now and the food is not recommended. My husband had breakfast for dinner and everything on his plate was burned. And pulled pork sandwich was awful. Time before this was very unremarkable as well.
