One of the challenges when boondocking traveling in an RV but not staying in an RV park is where to overnight. Many of the Ontario Walmarts do not allow overnight but this one seems to tolerate it. So when I arrived late, I parked and was not disturbed.nnThe store itself was in decent shape though the cart corrals needed attention and they were busy restocking at 9pm. I had no problem finding some snacks and a small case of water, paying for it on the self checkout. Men's room was decent enough.
DO NOT DO PASSPORT PHOTOS HERE! Cannot give a zero star review or I would. I am currently in Staples next door after being told by the employees at Walmart that they could not stamp our photos. They don't know what they are doing and Staples is way more knowledgeable.
Customer service at self checkout and store organization has gone down the drain since this walmart has became as if Indian owned. Very hard to see diversity in staff. Literally why every other employee there is a rude brown person. I can see the stark contrast in CS between 2018 and now. Self checkout staff is literally so dumb that they don't even know how to cancel one item. Many a times there is a line up at self checkout, 4 to 5 staff roaming around in self checkout zone and less than 40% counters open? Probably because they want to stand and watch and not move few more steps had they have more checkout counters open?nnElectronics dept has been good to deal with though.
The staff at this store are absolutely ridiculous. Particularly the self check out staff.nToday, my husband went in to grab some groceries while I stayed in the car with our sleeping toddler. He went to self checkout, and accidentally scanned literally the last item twice. Asked for help fixing this error, and the female worker in question took it upon herself to *erase the entire order* and scan everything back again. What is the point? For all that time wasted my husband may as well have just gone to the usual checkout. That is so rude and condescending. I can't say I've ever had a good experience here, honestly. Staff in general are rude, unhelpful, and creepy with the way they blatantly follow and stalk shoppers.
I recently purchased a pack of romaine hearts from Walmart, and the experience was extremely disappointing. When I was cleaning the lettuce at home, I discovered bugs crawling out of it. This was incredibly disgusting and unacceptable, as it poses a serious health risk.nnWhen I called Walmart's customer service to report the issue, they did not take my concern seriously. The representative simply told me to come back to the store for a return, without any acknowledgment of the potential health hazard this situation could pose to other customers.nnThis level of customer service is unacceptable. Food safety should be a top priority, and the lack of concern from Walmart's customer service team is alarming. I hope this review helps raise awareness and prompts Walmart to improve their quality control and customer service standards.nnThe brand was Andy Boy do not buy this lettuce.
