There is never a knowledgeable staff member in electronics. I spoke with a manager about it over a year ago to which the reply was "we're short staffed." Again over a year later and they haven't bothered to staff the area of the store that has the biggest ticket items. Staffing in general is bad, either not enough staff or basically no understanding of the products themselves. I don't think it's unreasonable to say that if I want to buy a game, T.V., or a router all purchases I've tried to make at this location over the last two years. I can expect that the person is somewhat knowledgeable about the products they are selling. Even some has gone as far as to give me incorrect information which resulted in me making a return. The staff are plain rude and unhelpful the majority of the time when you ask for any assistance beyond cashing out. I understand being frustrated about your job, but honestly I just want to be able to ask someone the difference between two similar products without a bunch of attitude, or a shrug of the shoulders.
Always pleasant and helpful staff around to help. Great store.
Very happy with the customer service desk. I couldn't find my receipt for a bbq I bought fairly recently and it went on sale afterwards. The manager went out of his way to find the purchase in their system and refunded me the difference in price. Thank you so much!
This walmart in port elgin is way better then other walmart in gta. People are friendly too.
If you told me three months ago that when I moved here that I would be doing 80% off my grocery shopping at Wally World I would have laughed in your face. But it’s true. Best place for a full selection of groceries in Port. That’s not saying much though
Walmart’s a Walmart, super convenient, helpful associates, self checkout.
Just moved here in Port Elgin and this is our favourite place to shop. Great costumer service and kudos who work there. My mom and i shop there both of need assistance for groceries they help us to the vehicle.
Thank God for your store and its incredible selection. You blow the socks off Hanover and Owen Sound. Size aside, their managers should visit your store for examples of how a well stocked and variety considerate store is run. Your service team are incredible as well. Another area where the aforementioned stores could take MANY pointers from. Keep up the great work !
Port Elgin Walmart is the best. Some very great people, great people, it's the best.
