Went to buy bread and found the one I chose had a return receipt on it. If sealed food is returned, return it to the shelves. If the food is not sealed, that is disgusting. Throw it out.
Purchased baby bottle sterilizer, I got home and opened box only to find wrong model inside. This Walmart would not take it back nor at least exchange for correct item, to me it's ridiculous.
I am a Walmart employee shopping at a different store than where I work-I am choosing to give my business at this location and every experience lately has been unexceptable. THIS store always goes out of way to be rude and unappreciative of you spending ur money here. Questioning my discount card asking me for other ID -If this is a Walmart policy all stores should have it never happens at any other location. IF my card was lost or stolen it would be canceled-not this case because I am still an employee and as a Cashier you are not going to be able to Question everyone just because you don't recognize an employee from another store. A couple months ago purchase something online and was told nobody knew how to make a instore online return.Reason for return was simply not the same item as pictured when order and still had all tags on it. Call the store and no one at customer service desk ever wants to answer.My solution is to recommend a different location.
If I could give a 0 I would, today’s experience with this location has truly left me frustrated and disappointed in the quality of staff you keep.nNow to clarify this is not all your staff as I did speak with the manager on the floor about this instance and they were kind but unfortunately I cannot say the same for your Electronics associate.nI was physically visiting your Port Perry location this afternoon looking for a specific movie on DVD Shrek. They did not have the movie and had mentioned that it maybe best that I call a store before going as sometimes inventory changes quickly and I have a 4 month old baby with me who was getting a little fussy!nI called The harmony location and my call was finally answered by a man who’s name I will keep private from the public - but will be happy to share with a manager or Walmart employer if contacted. I had kindly asked the associate if they could check to see if Shrek on DVD was in stock, Which he instantly Denied without hesitation stating I would have to come to the store to look through the inventory as there is to much to look through. I informed the associate that I was currently at the Port Perry location and they were out of stock but was advised to call in advance as I do have a four-month-old and it is a long drive to find out that you do not have the item that I intend to buy. I did not think this would be a difficult task in the slightest but the associate made it seem as though it was an impossible task/request. When I asked him again and said how it would be a very quick look through the isle and shouldn’t be to difficult to spot he then told me he needed a SKU number. I didn’t have the SKU number and was no longer in electronics in order to ask the gentleman in the portperry location. I had asked this associate from Oshawa if you could not look up the SKU number given the circumstances in which I was also denied. I had become very frustrated as every request I had was not only met with no but there was no consideration no care and NO want to help me at any point during this phone call. Speaking with this gentleman was the biggest waste of my time and was truly disgusting to see coming from someone who has been in the service industry and retail industry multiple times in my lifetime. It was the perfect display of I don’t care to help anyone as an associate to this business or in general. In my opinion it was such a simple request that I truly cannot wrap my head around how the same amount of effort put into being rude/lazy and putting a new mom in distress could have been easily spent by walking down 20 feet to check for an item and pleasing a customer as that is part of his job. Again I cannot begin to explain how disappointed I am in this experience and I truly hope that there is some restructuring or at least training to avoid any of this happening to any other customers of yours in the future. Why would you be paying someone to not do the job that they are hired for… by continuing to let behaviour like this happen you are only promoting negative Experiences for your customers.nOn a side note all of the associates at your Portperry location were lovely to deal with and very helpful with all of my other purchased items and inquiries.nThank you to those that helped and shame on you to the electronics associate, there is absolutely No reason for this to have been the outcome of my experience today.
I recently had an awful experience with Walmart, which led to my son’s birthday being ruined. I ordered an Apple Watch from their website as a birthday gift, and the package arrived on time. However, when I opened it, I found a phone case instead of the watch.nnWhen I reached out to Walmart customer service, I was told I’d have to go to the nearest store to return the case, then wait another 5-7 business days for a refund before I could reorder the watch. When I asked if they could at least expedite the shipping, the representative said they had no control because it was a third-party order. After waiting more than an hour for a supervisor, I was told I’d have to contact the third party myself, as Walmart apparently has no policies in place to assist customers in situations like this.nnThis experience has left me frustrated, disappointed, and feeling completely let down by Walmart. Their inability to fix their own error and lack of empathy has made me question ever shopping with them again.nnFunny thing that Walmart send me an email asking for my review, and when I wrote my review they rejected it and says that they won’t posted itnWhat a joke
