Excellent service and very professional staff! I visited CellRox by Fast Cell Repair inside Walmart South Surrey for my phone repair and had a great experience. The team was knowledgeable, honest, and completed the repair quickly at a fair price.nnThey also have a great selection of accessories, screen protectors, and phones. The store is clean, organized, and customer service was outstanding from start to finish.nnHighly recommend this place if you need phone repairs, accessories, or mobile services in South Surrey. Definitely one of the best repair shops around!
On May 18th, I bought a game at 1:40pm here and walked back into the store about 2 hours later, near 3:30pm. I was at a hangout with some friends and was still holding the game I bought prior. We entered the store and stopped right inside the store next to the automatic swing gate for 20 seconds to discuss if we should go to the McDonalds instead and did end up attempting to make a quick U-turn to that McDonalds when the woman at the swing gate stopped us and immediately asked me for the receipt. She should've seen us enter because she was literally right outside the swing gate as we entered, and that 20 seconds we were standing there wouldn't have been enough time to get to the technology section which was all the way at the back of the store. I only had the gift receipt, which I gave her, and she kept stating she needed the original receipt, claiming she couldn't see the details of the gift receipt even though the gift receipt had literally every detail she needed to know. I originally threw out the original receipt as I was not expecting to head back to the Walmart and only needed the gift receipt because it was a gift for a friend. She was very rude throughout this interaction too. We told her to check the cameras or even verify with the employees at the technology section numerous times, but kept saying that we couldn't take the game and kept holding it until her supervisor/manager came by. They stated the gift receipt didn't have enough details of the transaction but let me take back the game with a simple reminder to keep the original receipt. Whats even more outrageous is that I wouldn't have been able to take the game either way because it was locked behind a glass cabinet and I had to request an employee working at the technology section to unlock the cabinet in order for me to even get the game. Provided a photo of the exact gift receipt as proof that it had literally every detail needed for both workers to see. Very displeasing experience.
I wanted to appreciate a young employee working in the cosmetics section. She had brown hair and was not wearing her name badge, so unfortunately I could not get her name. She looked around 20 years old and had such a positive attitude throughout the time I was there.nnI noticed another customer being rude to her because of the cosmetics payment policy, but she handled the situation very calmly and professionally. Even after that interaction, she still smiled and politely said “have a good day,” which honestly impressed me.nnShe also helped me look for a product that Walmart did not carry. Instead of just saying it was unavailable, she took extra time to search online and gave me a list of other stores that had it in stock. That level of effort is rare.nnI also observed how kind and patient she was with elderly customers. She was having genuine conversations with them while helping them, and she made the shopping experience feel welcoming and comfortable.nnEmployees like her make a big difference in customer experience, and I truly think Walmart should continue hiring more people with this kind of attitude and positivity. And girl always wear your badge u deserves to be appreciated with name.
I was so happy to see the sincerity and service in photocenter department where an associate Nishima was able to help me get the work done in time.special thanks to a girl in compliance service who went above and beyond to help me out. When asked she told me her name asJASKIRAN-Very hard working and could not sit until l was able to get my order completed. I heart fully thank her for her service.people like her is an asset to the company.keep going!
Make sure you grab a cart before you go in as lately there's been a shortage at the entrance.nnUpon entering you're greeted by the expensive produce. The produce is hit or miss on freshness. There's what feels like a new area that is selling Indian foods. They were giving out free samples that tasted really good. I waved my wife over to show her only to see a female employee eating rice from the rice cooker with her fingers. No hairnet or gloves, just bare hands digging into the rice. Our eyes met and she smiled. The rest of the area especially the fridges seem to be changed around a lot. You cannot always find what you are looking for. When you check out there's often a wait. Even at the self check outs because they don't open enough. But at least the pressure to get a credit card has been turned down a bit now. Walmart is a mixed bag of value. There have been a lot of upgrades to the store that has seen a lot of items disappear. You can spend as much as you want on a store but if staff are eating rice with their hands from a rice cooker intented for people to buy then it's still Walmart.
