I don't know what happened to this walmart. I've lived here for 6 years and its been the worse state its ever been. I think this walmart should be reported. Last night I saw many pallets of frozen food and milk left out in the open. Trash and garbage everywhere. Rotten produce. Its such a shame.
I recently visited Walmart Surrey Central and was appalled by the condition of the produce section. The tomatoes were in a deplorable state, with many visibly rotten and covered in mold. This is unacceptable for a store of this size and reputation.nnIt wasn’t just the tomatoes; the entire produce section seemed neglected, with many vegetables looking far past their prime. It was clear that aisles were not being faced or merchandised properly, which added to the overall negative experience. The lack of care in maintaining the produce is a serious concern and reflects poorly on the store’s management.nnAs a customer, I expect fresh and well-maintained produce when shopping at a major retailer like Walmart. Unfortunately, this store falls far short of that expectation. This experience has made me seriously reconsider shopping at this location again.
An awful experience with Customer service which should be about helping people, not making them feel like an inconvenience. This evening I had an extremely disappointing experience with a customer service representative named Akansha.nnIf Walmart wants to maintain its reputation, I’d suggest retraining staff like Akansha or reconsidering who represents the face of your store. As wallmart policies describe both you and your spouse or domestic partner can enjoy the benefits of Walmart’s employee discount program during your shopping trips together. Who gives her authority to tell my spouse to show printed name on the card while both were physically present. Its our privacy and own wish to decide who is going to pay.
This is by far the worst Walmart branch I’ve ever visited. They consistently hide clearance and promotional items for internal staff, friends, and relatives. I’ve personally witnessed this many times over the past 2.5 years. Even weekly offer items are rarely stocked on time.nnThe store is poorly maintained and unclean. While a few staff members are helpful, the majority seem indifferent when customers ask for assistance. It’s also an open secret that hiring practices here are biased, favoring a specific community while overlooking others.nnI’ve started shopping at other branches where items are actually available to customers instead of being stashed away. I know they’re hiding stock because their systems show availability, yet staff claim items are in the warehouse, can’t be found, or have been stolen—anything to avoid restocking the shelves.nnManagement needs to address these issues immediately. A complete staff overhaul and better focus on maintaining inventory and cleanliness could significantly improve this branch.
I'd be wary about buying any frozen food here. You can tell by their sliced frozen beef roll packages that they are not kept to temp.nAdditionally the store is perpetually filthy and disorganized.
