Until today I shopped daily at Walmart and appreciated many parts of your business. Sadly that will now end and I will no longer be able to support the recent changes your store made to herd customers at entrance, make it harder to get out, close our self-serve convenience that you encouraged and we adapted to, and force us into lines where we get badgered daily to open a Walmart account.nnImagine the wonderful improvements you could make to increase your business and our pleasurable experience if you consulted your regular customers, and then adopted suggestions from a buyer's view!nnThat way we'd find value again in your store, feel you are genuinely there for us, and continue shopping there. I plan to return in a month or so to see if your managers considered their buyers' wellbeing yet! Thanks for this chance to suggest a possible win for all.
The store is understandably very chaotic right now due to the construction, but it makes for a frustrating shopping experience. If possible, I'd recommend avoiding it until the renovations are complete.nI was also really disappointed to find that the cashiers no longer bag groceries. With how much groceries cost these days, it's frustrating to have to bag everything yourself after paying. It feels like customer service has taken a step backward, and it makes you wonder what the purpose of having staffed checkouts is if that part of the service is gone.
This walmart is terrible now. They completely changed the layout to something that makes absolutely no sense and now you can't find anything. Products that were beside each other are now across the store from each other. They also basically got rid of their movie selection. Really no reason to go here other than the burger king at this point.
I have to say I am extremely disappointed with the recent changes this location has undergone. From walking in and only being greeted by mechanical entry arms that fail to work efficiently, to lack of customer service during check-out. I had zero assistance from the cashier to bag any items as she just watched me struggle and then she proceeded to check out the next person while I still had plenty of items to bag. Zero talk, zero help. If that is the expectation, then make it all self check out, or provide longer counter space. Very disappointing as I used to like this location.
I had a REALLY bad experience due to a manager named Shanto. I was in pain due to disability by the time I got to Walmart, I was having difficulty putting my stuff through and couldn't been to pick some things up. I wanted to get out some cash for the laundry and was told they could suspend it. I finished and Shanto lied said they can't suspend it due to software changes or updates. I was upset because I just wanted to go home and I said that made no sense after asking the others. I said I was in pain, this was a waste of time. He said he'd rescan them for me and not to worry,i was pretty irritated at that point. After I passed him all my groceries, he reached into a bag from another store... I said hey, no that's from the dollar,here's the receipt! Shanto was like, this isn't from the dollar store and started to argue with me. Now I haven't stolen since I was a kid and I'm not young...i was also homeless and NEVER once stole! So to be accused of theft when I had my receipt, I was FURIOUS! Shanto tried to deny being accusatory, kept this smug look on his face refused to apologize! Like the whole scenario could have been avoided if he wasn't such a colossal jerk and was so rude to put me through that.... Thank goodness for the kind manager above him cause that guy definitely shouldn't be a manager!
