This past weekend we came in with an emergency situation. We were stranded 10hrs away from home and my car gave me an engine light and it was flashing. I went in on a Saturday evening when we were driving through and there were no mechanics on site - it was after 5 so understandable - first man was super nice.. they stored the car for Sunday to wait for the mechanic to see it on Monday. I wish my Monday experience was as good as the Saturday evening. They ran the codes.. said they couldn’t do anything - CLEARED the codes and would not give me the print out of them to take to KIA so they could help me. The lady at the desk wouldn’t even talk to me. One word answers when I asked questions. Just wrote the codes down and then proceed To charge me for rags and gloves and all the other stuff.. sure charge me for reading the codes but why was I charged over 50$ for shop gear? Really? Never have I ever been charged this from a service at Canadian tire and I used them frequently and not once was gloves and rags and cleaners charged to my bill I have the damn receipts to prove it …. Horrible service for someone who came in in tears because our family was stranded 10hrs away from home.nnAnd the fact I paid for a diagnostic and you did not give me the actual print out makes me suspicious. Especially since I have made it home and my actual mechanic says that if those codes were real I would have got one again on my 10hr drive home.nnI am going to be reaching out to corporate about this situation because they took advantage of me and my family when we were looking for help. Shame on you

Really good product selection. Should be open till 11. On sundays too.nnI find it's a great place for odds and ends after being on the clock all day. Sometimes I work really late. Longer store hours would work better for everyone. I am sure i am not alone.
If I could give a 0 I would. Brought car in due to a leak and little heat on passenger side and none on drivers. Cost over 2000 paid left not even out of parking lot four lights on Dash not there before I have no heat and switch that turns heat on and off is making noises and shutting off on high setting on its own. I called immediately another appt made to bring it in. I pay another 1800 being told they have no crystal ball sometimes things like this happen maybe you broke it and we assume when we fix this it fixes other issues. So after 4000 I still had no heat and a leak. CT tells me I now need a new heater core which I had replaced not even 3 yrs ago. Ends up another mechanic flushed my heater core and replaced the part causing heat to shut off only 260 and I have the best heat. I still have the leak and my car shuts down on me I go to closest place turns out leak is a transmission leak not a coolant. I spent another 2000 but at least problem solved was so why did I pay CT over 4000? I feel I was taken advantage of as a woman. There is so much more to say but for now I say don't go They are all unprofessional liars and scam artists. Oh yes I just had my mother sister and niece pass away within 3 months of eachother unexpectedly. I needed my vehicle as I was planning funerals the executor of the wills and under complete stress. Again corporate after I complained says we will give you 250 cash or 400 in store credit. Highly unacceptable.
I had a great experience actually. I purchased sealant for my deck, I picked a colour that was a darker brown and when the employee showed me the colour after being mixed I wasn't confident with it.. but they assured me it would go darker. So I brought home my deck sealant, and stained the deck that evening, it did not go darker. It definitely was a shade of red which I didn't want at all. So I returned the next morning, brought the colour on a piece of wood to compare the example, they agreed it was completely off. Apologied. Mistakes happen, we're all human. Althought I had to go darker as I was not sanding the deck to get cocoa, we came to a solution and it wasn't a headache throughout the return/exchange process. So I truly appreciated that seamless process. I've worked in retail. I get it. Thank you!
