The only store that blames a customer for moving a whole shelf of products just so they don't give it to the price that it is displayed at. What happen to good customer service?
Surprisingly good considering everything I'd heard about Walmart. Got a good fleecy top and jacket. Saved our skins considering we didn't plan on Aussie winter weather in a Canadian summer.
My husband was just accused of trying to steal merchandise at this Walmart store in Prince Rupert,BC. He went through the self checkout and purchased a few items, the self checkout would not print a receipt for him after he paid for his purchase, he asked the sales attendant a short young East Indian girl, didn’t get her name for help and she said to him, “if you didn’t get a receipt you didn’t pay for your items! She then got another sales associate to check and he advised the young girl that my husband did indeed pay for his purchase but the machine must have been out of paper. The young girl did not even offer an apology for her accusation! Very poor service and extremely embarrassing for my husband as there were other customers in the line up
The staff are always helpful and do what they can for you. I get my non-perishable items here at a great price and fresh fruit and veggies at Safeway. Walmart does have a small selection of these items...carrots,potatoes etc but I find that they do not have a very long shelf life at all.
The smallest Walmart I've ever been in! Yet they still have pretty much everything, including some pretty good Prince Rupert souvenirs actually. :
I wouldn't know. I did not go in but if I did, probably just the same as any other times I've been there. Craving McDonald's even though that we are probably the only Walmart out there with no McDonald's in it. Sometimes I wonder why I live so far away and I always come to the same conclusion. It's peaceful.
I was actually happy with my purchase, looked at two stores for cornstarch as I'm a baker. Couldn't find any and low and behold at Walmart. They have such a wide variety of items you usually purchase in grocery stores.
Obviously not a Supercenter in such a small town but, this Canadian Walmart is clean and organized unlike some I've been to in the past. Carries 91% isopropyl alcohol, which can be hard to find. Even had a quality, small cooking pot we needed for the boat. Produce can be had at the nearby Safeway or Sav-On. Walking distance from the marina.
VERY small, no produce, smells bad, barely any sections, and you have to walk up a lot of stairs just to use the washroom, which is confusing. Most of the staff are decently nice.
Have no issues with the store! Workers are friendly and store is clean! They have good variety of stock available! Pretty good for a small store! Can't help it if people buy a lot of one product! Just have to wait for new stock to arrive! Good job Walmart Prince Rupert!
