Waldo's On King

We LOVE Waldo's! It is our favourite place for a special occasion and/or a date night. There is always so much care and craftsmanship with the food preparation and presentation. Sometimes it looks too pretty to eat but smells too amazing to not eat! Theresa is our favourite server of all time. Anywhere. Ever. She is amazing, and knows what you need before you do. And she is just downright lovely!

Great place for a ladies’ night out! The entrees are amazing! Strongly recommend the lamb rack! Duck breast portion is smaller than we thought but the sauce is outstanding ! We had scallops as well! Super friendly waitress talked us into the desert! Wish they cut the strawberry’s end off for the desert, Double fried fries are okay I think I had better fries at Waldo during lunch time.

This has been my second time back, and both times, I did not suffer the dread of buyers remorse. The service was, without a doubt, excellent, no it's ands or buts. It did not feel force and the setting was rather great, even though it is small, it feels nice to sit in. Not over the top, simply a good place to enjoy a meal. The soup of the day was quite nice. Though I wish there were mushrooms inside of the soup, it still tasted great. I had a croq monssiuer Forgot how to spell it, sorry... with a garden salad- orange vinaigrette. The only thing that felt out of place was the mushrooms, but other than that, I was pleasantly surprised on how good the salad tasted. The sandwich itself was nicely done. Rich and filling. Though I had to add a pinch of salt on both sides of the bread. Normally, I would not have desert but to give it a fair shot, they gave me something off the menu. And again, they did not disappoint. Creamy, not too sweet but pairs well with tea, the syrup actually tasting home made while the strawberries actually tasted great, I finished it all without forcing myself to. Though expensive, for once, I would like to formally say that this place is well worth the price stamp it advertises. I have never shown a finished plate until now. I highly recommend this place.

Great place! We went for Sunday Brunch. Not a lot of options but the food was good! The staff was friendly and we were well taken care of while we were there.

We went to Waldos on King last night for the first time. Everything was delicious! Atmosphere was great and all the staff were amazing. We will definitely be back.

Located in downtown London ON this place has separate Vegetarian menu to pick from and an amazing wine collection We ordered Mushroom Crêpe and Stack of Lamb with Prosecco from Italy

Had an amazing brunch on a shady and quiet patio. Great ambience for a downtown spot outside. Felt like there was a lot of space between tables so it was great to relax and chat and feel like there was no one else around. Eggs Benny was great, as was the croque madam. Sweet potatoes fries with a requested garlic aioli was a great side dish as they were super fresh, hot and crisp. Couldn't stop eating them all. Brunch drinks were refreshing but we would probably try different ones next time. Staff was great, helpful and made our Sunday brunch great!

Came here for a nice date night and we had a wonderful time! Our server Scott provided excellent service, the atmosphere was very romantic, and the food was fabulous!

I can't say enough about my visit to Waldo's. I have to admit my adventure began with my first phone to get reservations on a busy show night. Mark was great and welcoming. When we got to town, Mark had a table for us had and we were able to enjoy great pre show cocktails and appetizers. Kathleen took amazing care of us. We even enjoyed dessert on the patio with the heat lamps before we walked to our amazing concert. I'd recommend Waldo's to everyone and will visit every trip to London going forward.

Got the calamari as a starter and it was so good. Had the actual squid parts rather just the deep fried ringlets that most restaurants have. Got the duck as the main and it was also quite good. And lastly got the creme brulee for dessert and that was also great. Overall a great experience. Service was good. Went on a Tuesday evening and wasn’t busy and gave more a “private” feeling
