I really enjoyed our stay at ( Home-in-the-woods). Oh ya. It's translates to Waldheim in German. Rustic trees along the waterfront. The owner(s) are funny and really bring you into their resort with warm welcomes and the freedom to enjoy everything they have to offer with no watching of your every move or intension. You will need 4wd at times. But managable roads are clear cut and roomy. Several lvels place beatiful canins at the shoreline. While camp site's are up on the hill. The laje..Very ling.Deep. No drama with any hidden rocks from below. The boat launch is clear cut and can easily lauch a bunk trailerd boat no problem. Tons of water crafts to use for free. A slip for your boat also comes with campsite too. Pontoons are readily available to get out and are turn key. Ilder models,but nice to pack kids and the dog to go. Overall. My opinion it's a must stay again(and will have our boat too(was in for repairs). Rich with history and close to water rafting the river or 4 wheeler/Atv trail riding to. We really had a hoot!!

We celebrated the 4th of July and family time together at Waldheim Resort and had a wonderful time. Our family had 3 cabins, and we shared meals and bonfire time together, as well as enjoying the kayaks and swimming beach. We are from the Finlayson area originally, and have family living there. Vacationing in the area is new for us, and we all enjoyed being at Waldheim's. We will do it again😀 Teresa Carson

The Conlin Family had the best time ever at the Waldheim! Thank you so much to Patti, Jim and Damien! Your hospitality was super appreciated. The cabins were comfortable, cozy, super clean and had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here anytime. My son and I traveled from Los Angeles and can’t wait to come back again soon!
