This was our first year and we absolutely LOVE IT!! if you are looking for awesome activities, lot size, privacy, clean facilities and complete family orientated comradery that everyone shows is amazing! We cant wait for next season already, and we are just closing this one! We have made some great life long friends and memories. The professionalism yet down to earth interactions with Russ and Sue was the icing on the cake for us. They love their campers and what they do and it shows. Thanks Bremen Woods so happy we found this resort and we can not wait for more fun and memories.
If your Looking for a seasonal place to park your camper this is the place. We searched for 5 years and finally found our place to go to and relax. Very private, large secluded sites. Very friendly and helpful campers. Great activities for all. Home away from home.
This Place is amazing. Literally our Oasis. A great place for family and friends to get together and enjoy some time outdoors. It is peaceful and quiet. We moved our camper in the day after we bought it and made it a seasonal addition. They give you the opportunity to make your site your own. This isn't a "Cookie Cutter" campground. You have huge sites of all different sizes, and none of them are to far from their clean bathrooms or outhouses. It is so amazing to watch the sunrise over the woods, hear the kids having a great time with all the free to use toys at the pond Which is not weedy and well kept, or to let your dogs have some fun to at the dog park. Our favorite is riding around on our golf cart and listening to all the families laughing and making memories. Everyone is so friendly and inviting. You can choose to remain to yourself and have your privacy but with a place like this I am not sure why you would want to. The prices are reasonable. Russ and Sue are absolutely fantastic owners. They put on campground potlocks, group 4-wheeler rides on the TONS of trails in the area, and so much more. You are close enough to a city if you need something, but far enough away to really enjoy the nature. There is a place to store your boats, trailers, and 4-wheelers. Electricity is charged based on what you use, but its SO reasonably priced you wont even notice. The Game rooms Yes, there is 2... One for Adults and One for Children are wonderful, always clean and full of stuff to do. We are so excited to call this place our home away from home. We look forward to all of Russ and Sues improvements, and to create many many memories in all the summers to come.
It's exactly what my wife and I have been looking for in a seasonal campground. The sites are very big bordering on huge. The owners are incredibly accommodating. From putting your camper on the site too delivering wood, they are there to help. If you need something or have a question, all you have to do is stop at the office and ask. The park always has activities so it's up to you to decide how involved you want to be. Is a beautiful area with lots of shade. Check it out.
Huge sites, great golf cart trails and wonderful people. We love our Bremen Woods family
We spent half the season with them this year. The people are all so nice and friendly. There are special activities going on every other weekend, and some that happen every weekend. We love that they include all the water equipment for us to use at no charge. Spend some time out on the water! The sites are spread out nicely, you are not staying the night in a parking lot. So happy that we found this place to call our home away from home!! Thanks Russ & Sue for all you do to make this a place we wan to be at!!!
As far as the physical campground, it’s awesome. If you’re a weekender, you’ll love the place and the seasonal campers. 12 page lease and owners that make rules up as they go. Ex. You can’t use blue tarps, 5mph speed limit on golf carts, and a very strict noise policy. The owners advice is to have your campfire out by 10. They police the campground much of the night to regulate. Seasonals have cancelled parties out of fear of eviction. Numerous seasonals have left the last few years because of the owners. If you enjoy a campground run by a narcissistic dictator, this is the place for you!
This is a beautiful, spacious, open resort. Here, you camp in your own space. Set on 300 acres away from any real road, you hear no traffic drive by, you don't have campers telling you your movie is too loud, and each camp space has nice grass to spread out on. A resort that mostly had seasonal campsites in the past, has opened up a newer, deep in the woods feeling for "overnighter" folks like us. We love to try new campgrounds and see what everyone has to offer. At Bremen Woods, they have a long lake that the seasonal campsites are p laced around. The use of paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, paddles boats etc...are all free for use. You can fish in the lake large pond, but I don't know if there is a ton to catch. We will experiment with that today. However, using the beach to get out on the paddle boards and water devices was nice, and right next to a great sand volleyball court. Above that is a huge open space for a variety of grass style games, again free for use by campers. There are three or four covered pavilions to get out if the sun and have a food break. Overall, if you don't need to have a ton of structured events for your kids, this could be your new home. However, there are some events still put on by the owners to help meet new campers. Like the s'mores last night. The Bremenville buildings are cute, and useful, where you can play pool, boardgames and other activities indoors if the weather isn't cooperating with your plans. The Bath House is clean and we'll kept. You can't complain here. We will definitely be back.
We camped here a few times last year and loved it. We were blessed to be able to become seasonal this year, and couldn't be happier. Russ and Sue are great- as is everyone else here!
What a wonderful place. Russ and Sue make everyone fell right at home. Woods, water and nature at its best. The grounds are clean and we'll kept. Bath houses are very clean.
