Americas Best Value Inn Hinckley

My expectations were low as the outside was in need of an upgrade but the room was fresh, clean and very roomy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was half of what we had paid the day before at another hotel and much, much cleaner. I would stay there again if i were in the area. It was only a couple of miles from Grand Casino.

Expected a little more for the price. Not even a coffee maker in the room. It was very old. Looked like a log cabin stuck in the 70's. Also, they had a weird bag full of old stained washrags in a bag with a note saying use these rags to take your makeup off or to clean your shoes. GROSS! The other washrags to use were so used they were nothing but threads. Overall it is worth about $50 a night. Definitely not the $100+ I spent.

Its not a horrible place but not the best. Can get a cleaner better smelling room at the casino for less money. The room we were in smells really bad of urine. I went and bought spray and it helped for a few hours. They don't dust the rooms headboard had lots of dust. The toilet handle needed to be pushed in then down or it didn't flush bathroom is very very tiny. But the plus the water gets hot for a shower there are no bugs and the gal at the desk was beyond great..

Awesome stay-the manager Beth and her front desk gal were both very friendly and helpful-the room was just a room but we weren't expecting the Trump towers. Very easy to get anything you want close to everything. I will be back to stay here for next concert without a doubt.

No A/C! !! I didnt feel safe at night because we had to leave the windows open to get air!!! Windows did not open properly, the window crank was broken, one was missing. Was told to remove the screens to push the windows open. Dingy, stained and stiff towels, uncomfortable beds, overpriced. The Only convince was the free shuttle to and from the casino.
