Waffles Cafe

Both times we visited this location, our orders were wrong. The staff isn't as friendly nor as attentive as their sister site. While this location has a better neighborhood, I've felt a warmer atmosphere at their second restaurant. I'd honestly rate this restaurant as a 3 normally, but I realize that our visits were during fairly busy times. My love for their other site makes it hard to critique a restaurant that may be run by the same family. Even though there may be screaming junkies across the street, it's worth it to head out to the location on 1st Street instead.

Mary our waitress was great! She was wise & on top of things! Food was ordered & at the table fast! Coffee was weak but the giant portions on plate well worth your $$ I recommend this location 4 breakfast on your getaway to Yakima! Thank u guys :)

re:Waffles on 72nd. This used to be my goto cafe' for breakfast for eight years. The food and service were great. Two months ago I went in and asked the waitress to ask the cook to turn down his music; he didn't. I went out to the patio and could still his his music blaring out of the restaurant; so I left. Today, same situation with the music, only the waitress was too busy chit chatting with some guy about his car to take my order after almost 5 minutes. There were only two other customers and they were served. I left again, and I won't go back. To the owner; this is how you lose good customers. Take Notice

This is a really friendly place. They make you feel at home. Food is nice, too.

Absolute best breakfast food I've ever had! The prices are amazing, portions are HUGE, and the taste...oh it cannot be beat! This is an absolute gem! Do not visit Yakima without stopping by! There is usually a line out the door but they seat you quickly. I just cannot say enough about this place!
