We specialize in good things to eat! Freshly made donuts, bagels & bagel sandwiches every day! We also serve espresso & great brewed coffee.

Story

Don, a burnt out accountant, looking to own his own business, and Julie, a lifelong classical musician, noticed that Yakima was lacking a donut shop while visiting Don's mother one weekend. Thinking a donut shop sounded like a fun business to own, the idea caught hold, and Don & Julie moved to Yakima! A year later, Don's Donuts & Julie's Java was born.

Very friendly, family owned and operated. A good selection of tasty doughnuts. I don't drink coffee, but they have milk and juice also.

First off, don't let these all these 5 star reviews fool you. Came in here. The donuts did not look fresh. They were at least 2 days old. Lots of empty slots where donuts should be. $1.60 for one super small donut. Krispy Kreme sells them at the same price and they're much larger and fresh made. Selection was small. And the setting wasnt very appealing. 1.5/5 from me.

If you want good doughnuts then come here. That is what I do. If I cannot afford a doughnut, I stay home.
