Cowiche Canyon Kitchen & Ice House Bar

When I first walked in with my mom, the front door was massive and impressive. This place was very comfortable and new looking. As far as the customer service, talk about a great service. Our waitress was wonderful! I forgot her name, but she was very personable and knowledgeable as she shared so much fun random facts about the local area. She is currently a student at CWU and didn't rush us at all dinner our dinner. As far as the food, we had the International Burger which was very flavorful and the bread was very good. We also enjoyed their Thai Chicken Bowl which wasn't as good. The rice was undercooked, but the flavor was decent. I still give this place 5 stars because for the most part, it was good, but the atmosphere and all the employees were wonderful to be around.

My husband and I had lunch there today, I had a wonderful shrimp avocado salad, it was light and fresh with a grilled lime on the side that I used to squirt all over the top of it, absolutely delicious. My husband had a great hamburger I can't remember the name but he absolutely raved about it I believe it was it was the first on the menu and it had something to do with Hawai'i. I was to busy eating my salad. The wait staff were very nice and kept closed tabs on everyone. The building itself is really stunning, we sat in the ice bar and loved all the wood work and the really cool lighting. We will definitely go back next time we are in Yakima.

This was a great spot. Very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Well stocked bar with quite a few craft beers on tap. The wait staff was pleasant and helpful. I had the Thai Rice Bowl with Chicken, and it was delicious; I highly recommend. The prices were fair. If you are in Yakima, WA, you should give this place a visit.

Our server was good but overwhelmed, my husbands steak was over cooked and he never got his wedge salad, my daughter-in-law is deathly allergic to certain foods and her sandwich came with sauce on it that could have put her in the hospital if she hadn't noticed. Small portions and expensive especially with all the issues we had.

Well well well..... I had the prime rib last night with the prawns (well done) and holy s**t was delicious.. very nice atmosphere.. even tho I was the only guy with a 59/50 hat.. look it's kinda spendy but quality over quantity.. bring a blue 100 .. baked potato could of had a little bit of more pop but two THUMBS UP
