Story

What to expect when coming to Voodoo?

In all three of our locations, we do not offer table service, as it is in accordance with our European beer hall style to create a friendly, community atmosphere.

Our bartenders are able to take your food order and send it to the kitchen, which allows for you to save time and order both your food and drink at once.

We also offer a serve yourself water tap line so that our bartenders can be more efficient at taking orders and pouring beers, which allows you to help yourself to water without waiting in line or at the bar for someone to wait on you.

Our ever evolving menu features fresh, local food and without having to wait for a server to come take your order the food will come to you faster. This also provides us with less overhead so we can continue to provide locally sourced food as price conscious as possible. This provides you with fewer interruptions from servers and more time to socialize with your friends and loved ones!

Cool looking interior. Beer was just ok. Lots of different flavors (spices, fruits, etc) a bit much for my liking. ABV was high for many beers. The Brown Ale and Chocolate Stout were good.

The beer here is alright. I was just driving through for one day and decided to stop in to buy some bottles to-go. I sat at the bar and the staff weren't doing much since the place only had 3 or 4 customers. One of them looked at me and didn't come over. About 10 minutes later someone finally approached me. I bought the beers to-go and left with a bad impression. I understand they have instructions how to order food on a laminated card at the bar, but I wasn't ordering food. If they were ignoring me for that, then something definitely has to change.

The place was nice enough. Quick and friendly service. The beer is a little over priced. Actually, it has the most expensive drinks of the 5 bars I frequent. Sorry. It's true.

Beer was okay, decor was interesting. The brown ale was probably their best.

A fun and unique brewery that is worth the drive. They weren't serving food the day I was there, but still had small bar snacks for sale. They are very adventurous with their beers. In addition to staples like browns and IPA's, they go out on a limb with uncommmon flavors like cucumber, and with complex barrel-aged offerings. And more often than not, they totally work. Though the very welcoming bartender and funky atmosphere go a long way, it wouldn't matter if the beer didn't shine. But it absolutely does. A must-visit on any PA beer tour.
