I like the options but I have previously seen a lot more interesting selections for some items like the brats so this year has been a little boring.
Wrong hours listed online; don't shop right before close because they will rudely kick you out of the store. Don't waste you money...just go to CUB.
WIll not and can not recommend. They provided 51 pounds of the wrong order. Then they wanted me to drive over almost 2 hours to swap the meat for their convenience. They were unwilling to drive to my place and correct their error!
Great experience! Gentleman helping me got what I needed within minutes and I left with a God Bless and Happy Easter from him! So nice that there are still great people out here!!!!
I used these guys for years for processing my deer and I have done 2 a season for the past 3 years. No more. This year the price increased 60% to 169 dollars. Switched to Anoka meats who only charge 120 and give a military discount. Not a chain like Von Hanson's. Sausage prices are comparable without the discount and taste great. They treat you like you matter in Anoka.
Fantastic beef kabobs! Meat is always tender. Great quick meal on the grill. And the smell when you walk in the door is amazing, all that smokey goodness! Great staff as well!
Perfect for Butcher quality meats and specialty products. Love the meat sticks and the flavored pretzels.
Do NOT bring a deer here to get processed. Somehow they lost nearly all the tenderloins and blatantly lied to us claiming it wasn't any good. Further lied by saying it was shot in the back even though it was the cleanest heart shot.
I go to Von Hanson specifically for their smoked salmon. When I went in today the salmon looked more like beef jerky, and when I asked if they had any thing fresher he told me “I just put those in there today“ overall pretty disappointed with my experience. That is one Von Hansons I will not be returning to.
I used to go here all the time but they want fully vaccinated people to wear masks. I might come back when they lift this ridiculous mandate.
