I was nervous when I saw such low reviews here. I came to get my hair dyed before my prom by Taylor. The girl at the front desk was Nice, as was Taylor. She did an amazing job on getting me the ashe grey blond I've wanted for the past 2 years that no one else did right. I would really recommend seeing Taylor for a dye job. :)

I dropped in for a trim and ended up scalped. This is the second time I tried this salon and will never return

This place isn't god awful, but it definitely isn't very good either. I used to go to Volum for my bang trims because it was close by and convenient from where I used to live, but every time I have gone to this place I've been left with a bad taste in my mouth. The staff promises a complimentary bang trim if you're a customer within 6 months; but 3 out of the 5 times I have gone I was charged over $5 for the bang trim. The staff is a little disorganised and the prices are much too high for the actual quality of the hair service you're getting. I found the staff to be a little bit rude and snobby also. Also a very important note to mention is that the one positive review written here by "Taylor Junkin" is 100% ingenuine. I used to know her from high school I've seen her working at the salon.

Taylor did a fantastic job on my hair! Thank you! I am very happy with the cut and colour, best I've had in a long time. Will definitely be back to see Taylor.

The first time I went here I got my hair dyed and I was pretty happy with the result, however, the second time I went here the result was something straight out of a horror movie. I decided to get my hair cut here and they assigned a girl named Taylor to me. It was one of the worst cuts I've ever gotten. I actually had to go to another salon after to get it fixed because not only did she cut it so that it was lopsided with the left side having been cut shorter than the right, but it looked so bad and choppy and I was so embarrassed to be walking around with it after. ThankFully the other salon was able to fix the nightmare on my head, but I wouldn't trust coming back here again to get it cut.
