Shagg Salon and Spa

I've had nothing but wonderful experiences at Shagg Salon and that's all credit to my hairdresser, Alice. She is incredibly attentive and meticulous when cutting and styling my hair and for that I'm beyond grateful. I always leave so happy and impressed with her work and her warm and caring energy makes me immediately look forward to coming in for my next cut. I've referred many of my friends and family to Shagg and to Alice in particular and I will absolutely continue to do so!

I absolutely love Shagg, especially when it comes to my hairdresser Alice who is nothing but kind, caring, and professional. She truly goes above and beyond to give you the colour and cut you are wanting. It’s so hard to find a good hairdresser nowadays and I am so happy that I found Alice at Shagg.

I have been going to Alice for cuts and colour for many years now and I walk out happy everytime! The cut always looks great whether it's a simple refresh of layers or a big chop! She is super knowledgeable on colour too has made awesome custom mixes for me for new looks I want to try and gives great advice on how to best maintain my shade. I recently started using kevin murphy products based on her suggestion and my hair has never been softer : highly recommend going to Shagg and check it out your hair will thank you!!

I would follow Alice anywhere! She takes such care when doing my hair and always makes sure it’s perfect. I often ask to make big changes and she always delivers!

Unfortunately had a negative experience at my most recent visit. Stylist was quite rude and told me how i needed to change my hair care routine, even though I had not mentioned any concerns about the health of my hair or my haircare routine, just in for a regular haircut She told my hair was "ok, but not the best" and I needed to see her more often. Doubtful after being lectured for 45 minutes.

My daughters and I have been going to this salon for 3 years and are never disappointed. The staff and service are great. Our gal Haley is very skilled and talented as well as one of the sweetest, genuine and down to earth people we have ever met in this Guelph community.

Caitlin just gave my 6 year old son one of the best haircuts! She listened to him and interpreted exactly what he wanted. He was completely relaxed and very happy with the results. Just overall a really great experience.

Such an amazing salon! Wonderful, friendly, modern, welcoming space with a strong team of talented women. Brittany is my fantastic stylist. FANTASTIC. She intuits what I want even when I can’t properly articulate it and more than delivers with every cut & colour. Brit keeps my short hair funky & on trend. She’s also so fun & easy to chat to. I look forward to every visit to Shagg & knowing I’ll look better when I leave is also a bonus .
