Had the fish curry platter and added a veg samosa. Freshly prepared sauce was amazing...

Absolutely loved this restaurant. I was able to have what's basically authentic Indian cuisine in a fine dining setting with unique twists to every dish. The way every dish was presented was beautiful and I've never seen Indian food served so well before. I think the menu could use some more options especially in the main courses. But the starters and street food items were definitely the best! Will be going back soon!
I must say this here is a restaurant where the Indian food tastes absolutely authentic!Adding to the taste, the presentation is spot on too! Adds whole level of sophistication to the dish. The cocktails are great, they have a certain twist to it! Where they could improve is on the pricing. For the portion size, I believe they charge quite a bit which I believe should be definitely improved on. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to spend their evening dining in where the food tastes as good as it looks.
I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants and not many have dishes that are as beautiful creative and delicious as this place. We found it by googling best Indian in ottawa and it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend the shrimp curry and chicken drumsticks. The cocktails were okay, I would probably get wine next time. However the food was good enough that it didn't matter, we had a great experience and staff were friendly.
Went with friends for a Valentine’s Day dinner, but even after a reservation, we got a small table that was unaccommodating for the food we ordered. Our table was a mess and we wish we had a bigger table to enjoy the meal rather than just juggling dishes on it. The food was good! Loved the dumplings veg momos. Cocktails were good too, but not upto the mark. The plating is always very nice and chic, however we hope the next visit is less clumsy and more enjoyable.
It took a while for us to be acknowledged. The service was very friendly but unfortunately they had a table with a birthday and we were barely getting any attention. We had to ask for our water. The food was very good. We tried a lot of the dishes. The Chilli chicken, Chilli Shrimp, and Drums of Heaven were my personal favourites. The lamb was good but very small pieces of chop. I got the masala as medium and I have a decent spice tolerance. I was sweating from my ears it was so hot. I'd definitely ask for mils or no spice if you're sensitive because I'm not and the medium destroyed me.
THE FOOD HERE IS AMAZING!!! It was so flavorful with just the perfect amount of spice. I especially liked their version of the "crepe". So big, crispy, and savoury. It is more expensive but worth the price. Never had such fancy and tasty Indian food before in Ottawa!
Vivaan has been on my list for a while and it was worth the wait. What a tremendous discovery as tonight did not disappoint! Every dish was beautifully presented and loaded with flavor. • Chef Teegavarapu Sarath was welcoming and evidently very passionate about cooking which translated nicely across the entire meal. He guided us through the menu and made this a wonderful culinary experience. • As usual, we ordered too much but we are delighted to have sampled so many items on the menu. We will definitely be returning .
The food here was so good, we ate all of it. Our server was also very lovely. Plenty of parking after 5:30pm. I might even say this is the best Indian place in Ottawa. Definitely coming back to this restaurant.
It is one of the best places I have been to for Indian food. Moreover, it also serves dishes which are kind of a fusion of Indian food with western food. I love this place and had a fantastic experience. Would definitely recommend this place. One thing which it needs to take care of is the restrooms which were not maintained properly.
Delicious and authentic Indian food. Each dish has amazing taste and presentation. The service is also great. Definitely worth a try if you want to know how real Indian dishes are supposed to taste. A bit on the pricey end
