I visited the Bramalea City Centre loaction and it was my second time ordering from Villa Madina and MOST DEFINITELY my last visit. I ordered a chicken Shawarma plate that had a dead bug inside the salad. I spoke to the manager and he denied that it was a bug and claimed its a piece of chicken. When I showed him a photo of the bug he accused me of using a photo from another food place and told me my intention is to only get a refund and I will still eat the food regardless if it had a bug or not. I've NEVER felt so insulted and disgusted. After arguing with me almost 10 minutes I let him know that I will be calling a food inspector to make the judgement of whether its a bug or a piece of chicken. ONLY then did he FINALLY give me a refund and said "Now you got your refund, so you can take the food and eat it". Its unbelievable to me that a fully GROWN ADULT has zero manners and respect. Its UNACCEPTABLE for your staff to take advantage of customers being kind and respectful in such matters when in fact I had every right to be angry and upset. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH ANY FOOD PLACE. Hire staff that have the skills to keep the food place neat, clean and speak to other human beings with respect because this is beyond ridiculous. No customer should ever need to go through this much trouble for the mistakes of YOUR OWN STAFF.
Chicken was undercooked and the overall food was average. The humus is just for the namesake. You may find better Halal options
The food was decent. I would definitely try another location and at an early hour. However, the person who was handling the store on a Sunday evening was really a hard worker. He was older than my dad but I was happy that he was working fine and could communicate to the customers properly. We order 2 shawarma wraps and a shawarma plate with a side and salad. I think the chicken would have been better if we were there earlier. We got the last chicken that was on the tower.
Worst customer service I’ve ever been to in my life. After I purchased the shawarma dinner meal, the rice was uncooked and the chicken was crunchy with no flavour. My stomach couldn’t bare the food. I went to the employee for a refund and the employee didn’t listen to me. He wasn’t interacting with me properly. The employee was keep talking to me while his customers were leaving. The employee kept making excuses as to why he wouldn’t give me a refund and blamed me for his customers were leaving.
I went to Villa Madina for the first time today and the food was not good. I got the chicken shawarma plate and it was very disappointing. The chicken was cold. And both the chicken and rice lacked flavour. It looked and tasted like boiled chicken. I got the spicy red sauce and tahini and both had no taste. Also the teaspoon amounts of humus and garlic sauce is quite stingy. I don’t understand how this place is still in business. I advise everyone to skip this place- the other shawarma place in the food court is much better for about the same price. Whoever is in charge of running this franchise location should really taste their own food.
I don't know why I always end up getting food from here and then regretting it! The chicken was okay for shisha tawouk but the rice were so hard and stale. The sauces and salads were super salty. The "garlic potatoes" were more like "salt n potatoes" they were Gross! Never buying from here again
Villa Madina at Bramalea City Centre for me has always been consistently good. The husband and wife that own this location are friendly and offer great customer service which is one of the reasons why I keep returning. The chicken shawarma is always tender and portion sizes are filling. In comparison to other Villa Madina locations that I have visited, this one is the best.
My first and last time eating here. The falafel wrap was probably one of the worst I’ve ever had. It had no flavour. The falafel had no taste. My Pepsi had more flavour than the wrap. All I could taste was garlic. The toppings looked to be in poor condition. I wasn’t offered any fresh taboulleh to put in. Pickles and radish looked very soggy. My friend had the chicken shawarma box and she said she hated it. The chicken had no flavour except a burnt taste.
I'm surprised to see such low reviews. I've eaten the chicken shawarma plate over 30 times and every single time the entire plate is yum! Admittedly it's all I've tried from this place, but it's so good and it sits well. The staff could perhaps brighten the place up a bit with a smile or two, but the food is always on point. And given the lackluster experiences I've had at the other chains in bramalea, this place is a must Try!
I had the worse experience last week at this place. The lady working there has really bad attitude with her customers. I had asked her if the chicken shawarma meat was moist because last time it was really hard and dry. I asked her if I can see my shawarma wrap before she closed it and she did not show me. She started to argue with me snd yelling at me saying that it can never be dry and hard because they cut it right in front of us so we know what we get. But that doesn’t promise the meat won’t be hard and dry. It could be sitting there for a while over cooking. She asked me why I still came after the meat was hard which I think is very bad customer service. I was giving them a chance. I’m never going back there again.
