The food was good. Very much the home cook feels to it. The staff were very friendly and it happened to be a busy day and we still got our food at a decent time. I would eat here again.nnI will say the front of the store had a little window with baked goods, little cookies and stuff but they were all pretty dry. Those I would not order again.
Stopped in for breakfast as we were leaving to explore the area. Not the best breakfast or even all that good. Large potions but not too good. Ordered the Canadian combo and a side of sausage. The eggs were cooked well and tasty. Super hot restaurant could have used fans or AC as it wasn't that warm outside but you are sitting next to the grill so hot. The sausage side for breakfast isn't breakfast sausage and was overdone. The French toast was ok but a bit greasy. The potatoes were smothered in some seasoning and in my opinion not edible due to this seasoning. Strawberry jam was the best thing on the plate but the bread was tough especially for white bread... Overall wouldn't be somewhere I'd recommend or probably return.
Victoria's is always a friendly and welcoming place. Service is quick and attentive, food is homemade, and prices are really reasonable. There are plenty of vegetarian options.
I’d come here for their incredible bread. That is what they do very well. The rest of the food is ok but not amazing. They only have 3 people working in the entire place so sometimes service is slow if it’s busy. Very good value though. An amazing $5 cinnamon roll is huge! And comparatively the food is much cheaper then other breakfast places in the area.
I’m a local and Victoria’s I hands down, THE BEST home style, hearty breakfast in town made with quality ingredients. Their sausage is and their bacon is phenomenal, It’s usually not those salty, narrow strips the other restaurants serve, it’s the thick kind. They’re bread is homemade as well, not the store crap with all those extra ingredients. If you want a breakfast that looks and tastes like it was made on a homestead, this is the place to eat. I don’t eat at other breakfast places anymore because it’s like I’m eating cafeteria food; nothing special about it. And, Jami Shields, I chuckled at your review. The sausages isn’t overdone, It’s just not the processed, overly greasy sausage you’re used to.
