Heard about this place from a friend. Stopped today for a fish fry sandwich. See the photo of just one sandwich. I ordered fried clams as well but I ate them before I could take the picture so there is nothing to show but an empty container. They are so nice and accommodating there and the food is outstanding. I will definitely be back. BTW. My side and I split the one fish fry sandwich it was so much. Yummy
Received Mushy and Oil Saturated Sides when I informed the Owner. He simply treated me like another customer in line and asked "What am I ordering today ?" No apology or concern for the $18 my family couldn't eat. As a loyal customer of 4 years who tried to weekly frequent and support his local business I was extremely disappointed by his sheer dismissiveness of my food experience..Needless to say I will not be returning.
Best fish i have ever tasted, people there were friendly and helped out alot. I was very indecisive about what i wanted because it all looked so good. Customer recommended the flounder, mac and cheese and yams! Yum, would definitely go back soon! Some of the food my family ordered, is pictured below!
My daughter and I stopped by Vicky's Famous Fried Fish. Got a dozen fried jumbo shrimp - delicious and crispy. Plus 2 pc fried flounder - not soggy, well seasoned. And 2 fried crab cakes - very well seasoned and not a lot of filler. Def. will be trying them again.Food: 5/5
Was anxious to try the fish. The batter is definitely a winner but fish itself was pretty bland. Was not greeted too well when I walked in. They seemed too distracted on computer to speak and never had eye contact. I'm not even that picky abt that but some common customer friendliness will get you far.Food: 4/5
The worst fried fish, shrimp and poor customer service. Only one person working. Bottom line food wasn't cooked completely. Does use square for cc payments however cash is referred. Items stated on menu but not available. Duh! Go back "NO".
well, I was waiting on light to change and notice a sign...come on in we have fresh fried fish. the menu is on window so you can decide before entering the small shop. no seating , there is a sign asking you to wait outside for about 10 minutes. my choice 3 pieces of fried whiting 2 slices of wheat bread tatar sauce on the side.with 2 sides my choice was collard greens & potato salad for $13.00 to go. plus they make homemade sweet tea for $2.00. fish was fresh& light . I was enjoyed my meal and will return again.
AMAZING! So good! I heard about the store in passing and had to stop by. I got the fried flounder, the ones with the sides on it, and he got the fried catfish meals. Everything is delicious. The Mac and cheese is to die for. I want to eat a whole bowl of it. Very friendly place!
This by far is the best seafood restaurant in the area. Hot, and delicious, mouthwatering seafood that will knock your socks off. If you want a taste of Maryland, the crabcakes are off the charts. I have been eating and enjoying this food for years. I absolutely love the food and my kids love the food as well. If you want a taste of great seafood with a hint of home cooked flair, I highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy
When the bread tastes better than the breading on the fish, that doesn't say much about the fish itself. Could not get pass the greasy breading. Whiting had no flavor. Never again
